3. The logo is made up of an image of the earth with the words universal that arch around
the planet. The word Universal connotes to everything and everyone . The colours used
for the text is white and gold which because of where the logo is placed around the
earth its almost as if the logo is heaven as our visual assumptions of heaven is where
the ground is the clouds which are white and the gates and buildings are made of gold
which are the colours used on the text. When the full text is on screen for when the film
starts the earths rotation stops on America due to this being an American company.

The Universal logo has
changed a lot since
1914 to its 100th
anniversary version that
we see today.

6. The Paramount logo is made up of an image of the peak of a mountain, 22 stars that
create an arch around the peak along with the words Paramount in the middle of the
arch. The word Paramount means more important than anything else that they are
supreme, the star are there because it was to represent how many actors was contracted
to Paramount which at the time was 24 which used to be the amount of stars that was
on the logo but has changed to 22 since 1974. The mountain is there to remind you of
your childhood. I think what is also trying to be put across from the mountain is because
mountains have some of the highest points in the world its always someone's goal to
reach the top and Paramount are saying that they always reach the top with their films.
7. History of the logo
Since 1914 the
Paramount logo
hasn’t changed
much as it has
always kept the
same principal with
the stars name and
mountain in mind
when updating it.
8. Pixar Animation Studio
Pixar Animation Studios is an American computer animation film studio The studio is
best known for its CGI-animated feature films created with Photo Realistic Render Man,

application programming interface used to generate high-quality images. Pixar is
currently owned by the Walt Disney Studios. It was founded on February 3rd in 1986 by
Edwin Catmull and Alvy Ray Smith.
9. The logo has the word Pixar writing in neat serif font with a bland white background
which makes the logo look dull and boring. However because the production company
aim there films more towards children of young age they use a desk lamp called Luxo Jr
who is from one of their earliest short animation films, to come onto the screen stopping
at the I in Pixar and then jumping on the I until it is squished. This put forward to the
target audience that their not a boring company as the significance of the lamp jumping
on the I is almost like the desk lamp is saying no to the logo.
10. The Pixar logo originally looked like the first image until it became the second image
on the screen from then on it has always been that logo apart from when the
company will use variations that will include a character from the particular film that
has been produced
