This document discusses different institutional aspects featured in movie trailers. It explains that trailers include logos of production companies to leverage their reputation and generate audience interest. Hashtags are also used to promote engagement on social media and allow the topic to potentially trend. Intertitles in trailers are designed to catch viewers' attention and provide key details about the film's narrative, creators, and release date.
2. This is the institutional logo featured in the trailer
for this film, the reason trailers have institutional
logos is to interest the audience because the ‘20’th
century fox’ is very successful and well-known for
other famous films. When trailers have institutional
logos like this the audience will have high
expectations on the film because of the other films
within the ‘20th century fox’ company.
Hashtags are another institutional logo used in this
trailer. Using a hashtag appeals to the audience
because it’s used on social media sites and lets other
interact with each other through this. The hashtag is
also promoting the movie because the audience is
using it and if a lot of people have used this it may
become a trending topic on the social media site
‘Twitter’ this allows others who are not using the
hashtag to still see it.
This is the hashtag used for the movie.
3. Intertitles are used so that you get a small idea of
what the narrative is about or if the movie is based
on a true story, based on a best seller. They are
designed to catch the audiences attention whilst
watching the trailer, they also give important
information such as the director, actors names,
distribution company and when the movie will be
released.
