Audience Feedback
I done some research and took out some questionnaires to obtain audience feedback to see what people thought of our final product, and also to see what points the audience thought we could improve on. This will be very helpful to me because it will enable me to see where I can improve when making future products.
Questions Asked I asked the audience of our opening the following questions: Do you feel like you would like to see the rest of our film? Do you feel the certificate is appropriate? Could you relate to the characters? Did you feel the plot was convincing and believable? Could you rate our film out of 10. I asked 20 people.
Do you feel like you would like to see the rest of our film? The results to this question show that 14 out of the 20 people would like to see the rest of our film. This is a positive result as it means our film could be successful.
Do you feel the certificate is appropriate? The results to this question show that 15 out of 20 feel the film is appropriately rated. I agree with this as I do no feel it would be suitable for people under the age of 15 but I do however feel it is acceptable for people of 15 + to watch as there is minimal violence but it may be seen as quite scary and haunting.
Could you relate to the characters? The results to this question shows that 12 out of the 20 people could definitely relate to the characters in our opening. This is good because we tried to create characters that were easy to relate to so the audience could feel sympathy for the characters and feel involved.
Did you feel the plot was convincing and believable? The results of this question show that the majority of the people I asked felt the plot was credible. We tried to created a plot that was believable and I feel we have achieved this.
Could you rate our film out of 10. This shows that the most popular rating was 8 out of 10, I am very pleased with this result as I feel it is a good rating. Comments given included things such as ‘a little confusing at times’.
