EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE
MicroTees - 03/09/07 to 14/09/07
MicroTees is a company set up by Mark Carroll, they produce custom T-shirts for customers. I was part of a team for producing T-shirts and
on occasions delivered them to customers. I set up a database system on my boss’s computer for his accounts and invoices. I also helped my
boss in setting up new computer hardware and installing the operating system. During my time there I gained valuable experience in team
work, organization and planning.
VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School - 2008 to Present
I am currently helping out teachers in their classes on Wednesday afternoons. I work with the children in helping them with their school work,
mainly the IT classes. I also have a general authority during the classes if needed. Working with the children has helped me increase my
communication skills with children.
RELATED SKILLS
I am very computer literate (software and hardware) as shown by my experiences during MicroTees. I have good team working,
communication and time-keeping skills, as well as good attendance records. I also have great problem solving skills and I am very
enthusiastic and confident about my work. I also have an excellent attitude towards authority.
INTERESTS
I enjoy many different types of video games and I’m very interested in games development and design. I’m fascinated by computers and
technology, especially games consoles. I enjoy many genres of music, especially progressive as it’s complicated and unique. I’m also
learning how to play the guitar so I can hopefully play some of the music I love. I particularly enjoy reading about interesting topics, ranging
from culture to computer technology. I’m also interested in how the human mind works, which is why I’m currently studying psychology.
