2. RESEARCH
Pinterest- We used pinterest to find images for inspiration for our film, such as the interior and exterior
of the house we wanted to film in. And the audience profiling of the target audience who will be
watching our film. These can be seen on posts on my blog. Using pinterest also helped with the
planning of our film.

3. Magazines- we looked at a variety of film magazine covers to give us inspiration on what to make our
cover to look like. This is shown in a post called film magazine covers on my blog. For my research I
looked at Empire magazine with the Blade Runner film on the cover. And I looked at Total Film
magazine with The Martian film on the cover.

4. Blogger- We used blogger to document our work in. My blog is my main hub which shows all the
technologies I used, it documented all the work for the film eg the research, planning and
construction.

5. Slideshare- we used slideshare to present our work through powerpoint showing our analysis on film
posters, trailers and magazine covers. It is an online tool. I found this my most successful way of
presenting my work.

6. Twitter- Twitter is a social media platform where you can learn new
concepts and read news in media and get inspiration for new ideas. I
created the twitter account for our group, using the film name and the
poster and magazine covers images I used for the profile pictures and the
header image.

7. PLANNING
Mobile phone- We used our phones to contact each other on when to film
and what props to bring.

8. Snapchat- We used social media platform snapchat to make a group chat
to plan our film on what day to shoot and what props to bring in.

9. CONSTRUCTION
Tape Recorder- We used voice notes on our phones to create some
sounds for our trailer to them put into imovie. We recorded the voiceover
and the violin strums on voice notes which adds the scary tension to the
trailer, this was very successful.

10. Digital Camera- For our filming we used a Nikon D3100 to film our trailer
and a Canon D300 to take the images for our poster and magazine cover.
They were both easy to use, with great quality and were quick to upload to
photoshop and imovie.

11. Adobe Photoshop- We used photoshop to edit our film poster and
magazine cover, I find it easy to use and gives a good effect when printed
off.

12. Imovie- We used imovie when editing our trailer, this is quick and easy to
use. It was a great way to add our film clips and sound effects to make the
final result the best we could.

13. Youtube- We used youtube to upload our film edit onto. It is an online
tool. We also added the annotated version is is shown in evaluation 1.
