-Presented on KISS 100 morning show 
-The show is from 6am till 9am week days 
- Section will be aimed at both young adults as well as adults 
- Discusses issues that effect a range of age groups who are active on 
social media sites 
- I would like to place my insert at of 5 to 10 mins at around 7.30 when 
my target audience is most likely to be listening 
Why it would fit in 
-It is presented by three presenters Ricky, Melvin and Charlie 
-They discuss recent updates in the news and interesting topics 
-Play games to get the audience to join 
-I feel my insert will fit perfectly with this as it is suited to their audience 
and is similar to something that they would produce.
I have produced a survey for my 
target audience of 16-18 year olds 
as well as adults asking key 
questions about the subject I will be 
discussing in my radio insert 
In this questionnaire I have asked 
questions about my audience that 
will help me understand them and 
what their overall opinion is on 
social media 
Through this survey I was able to 
see how my target audience fit with 
the radio stations current audience.

-41% of online 18-29 year olds in serious relationships felt closer 
to their partner because of online or text conversations. 
-45% of internet users ages 18-29 in serious relationships say the 
internet has had an impact on their relationship
-Ages 16-18 
-Generation known as the most uber-enthusiastic

-Like listening to music 
-Go to school or have a job 
-Wake up early enough to tune in 
-Hobbies include shopping, socialising with friends 
-Listen to radio stations like – KISS 100, Capital 
extra and radio 1
• I will be asking a hand full of students ages 16-18 on their 
opinion on the subject as well as a few adults so that I can 
get a good range of opinions. 
• I am going to ask them what they think of social media 
currently and its huge involvement in every day life. 
• How often they use social media and if it has caused 
conflict with people they know 
• Personal experiences with social media and its effects on 
relationships
• I will be using a flip camera and microphone that I will be 
borrowing from Acland Burghley school. 
• I will be filming at Acland Burghley as well as outside school when 
recording interviews with adults 
• I will be interviewing people I know that are up to date with 
social media and have an opinion on the subject 
• I will not have to travel as it will be on site and there is a range of 
people of different ages to interview
