This document outlines the objectives, materials, and requirements for a collagraph printmaking project exploring animal motifs and emotionalism through repetition of textures. Students will create a collagraph printing plate with at least 4 textures to convey personal meaning, and produce 3 successful prints from the plate. The accompanying journal will include pre-planning research and a post-planning reflection on techniques learned and how the project relates to the themes of repetition, unity, and conveying emotion through art.
