This document provides an overview of the curriculum, instruction, grading policy, and communication for Mrs. Uttendorfer's Studio Art Drawing & Painting I & II and AP Two-Dimensional classes. The objectives are to develop drawing, painting, and design skills, understand art history and principles, and build a portfolio. Students will complete daily sketch journal activities, have their work graded on rubrics, and have opportunities to exhibit artwork and go on field trips. Extra help is available during open studio times.

4. Curriculum Objectives All students will: Develop skills in drawing, painting, three-dimensional design, collage, independent projects, and computer graphics. Have an understanding and appreciation of art history, art criticism, and the principles and elements of design. Maintain and understand the importance of sketch journal. Accumulate a portfolio of their original artwork and have the opportunity to record a digital portfolio.
