 I made a Facebook page in order to promote our film through
social media.
 As majority of our target audience will be using a site such as
Facebook, we felt that it was necessary to use this site to display
information and promote our film.
 The page was simple and easy to make. In order to make the page
original and stand out, we chose to have a profile picture and
cover photo which showed shots from our film.
 These acted as spoilers and they generated excitement and
intrigue around our film.
 On the Facebook webpage there is the option to “Promote” your
page, as well as the option to “ Invite your friends to like the
page”, this means that you can make your page come up in other
users news feed as well as giving them a notification that you
have made a page about your film.
 We also made a Twitter page, this also acts as another social
media tool, which promotes our film around the internet.
 The twitter page provides twitter account users to visit the
page and gain information surrounding our film.
 It also allows people to share our page with their followers,
thus reaching a wider audience, and starting a trend.
 On twitter things can also be trending, this means a lot of
people are talking about a particular subject or thing. W e
would hope that with time our page would generate
enough buzz to be “Trending”.
 We made a poster to be our main resource for our film
promotion.
 We made the poster using Photoshop.
 Onto the poster we incourperated information such as, the
name of the film, the slogan, the director, the producer, the
production company, the website and the release date.
 As the lead role in our film is a war photographer we
decided to place a vintage camera film role to act as a
backdrop to our film title.
 We also placed iconic war images into the film role, to give
across the theme of our film.

P&a Promotion

  • 2.  I made a Facebook page in order to promote our film through social media.  As majority of our target audience will be using a site such as Facebook, we felt that it was necessary to use this site to display information and promote our film.  The page was simple and easy to make. In order to make the page original and stand out, we chose to have a profile picture and cover photo which showed shots from our film.  These acted as spoilers and they generated excitement and intrigue around our film.  On the Facebook webpage there is the option to “Promote” your page, as well as the option to “ Invite your friends to like the page”, this means that you can make your page come up in other users news feed as well as giving them a notification that you have made a page about your film.

  • 4.  We also made a Twitter page, this also acts as another social media tool, which promotes our film around the internet.  The twitter page provides twitter account users to visit the page and gain information surrounding our film.  It also allows people to share our page with their followers, thus reaching a wider audience, and starting a trend.  On twitter things can also be trending, this means a lot of people are talking about a particular subject or thing. W e would hope that with time our page would generate enough buzz to be “Trending”.

  • 6.  We made a poster to be our main resource for our film promotion.  We made the poster using Photoshop.  Onto the poster we incourperated information such as, the name of the film, the slogan, the director, the producer, the production company, the website and the release date.  As the lead role in our film is a war photographer we decided to place a vintage camera film role to act as a backdrop to our film title.  We also placed iconic war images into the film role, to give across the theme of our film.
