Who Do I want to be professionally online?
Online, I want to become a regular art
blogger, posting both inspirational images and my
own work to blogs, Flickr and Vimeo. I hope that i can
create my own presence as a unique artist who uses
social media as a tool rather than a necessity to be
professionally recognised.
Who am I Online?
I use the online world as inspiration and reference for
my own work both as an advertising student and as
an artist. I find myself reposting and blogging about
other artists, especially musical talent, using many
different sources such as StumbleUpon, Tumblr and
of course YouTube to seek what interests both large
and small audiences.
By Trying to appreciate and comment on many
different artists, I want to gain the knowledge and
inspiration that I can use to portray in my works, which
often have links to social media and modern news
topics...
Professional Identity
POSITIONING:
I hope to inspire through art, both young creative professionals and
students to mould their own experiences into something
unique, meaningful and beautiful or compelling and thought provoking.
VALUE PROPOSAL:
Coming from a background of fine art and psychology, I have a keen eye when
it comes to pop culture and have the skills to create something unique which
appeals to a wider social community and share the things that inspire me to do
so.
MY BRAND NARRATIVE:
My name is Callum Clarke and i am an artist and advertising student
based in Melbourne, Australia. Coming from the background of
undergraduate Arts Bachelor majoring in psychology and fine art, i
developed knowledge about people and history, skills and theory
which helped me to forge the creative persona that i wish to portray
professionally and socially in my life.
I am now completing a Master of Advertising in the hope of
becoming an art director who inspires thought, emotion and passion
in whoever i need to speak to. I am both strongly visual and auditory
in my interests, never being far from a set of speakers or pencil and
paper.
