in order to locate and contribute to an online

Task 1: Describe a group of learners you plan to
work with
Task 2: Explain what and why guidelines are
needed to be established, in collaboration with
your learners, for working with collaborative
technology
4. Week 8

Get enthusiastic: use collaborative technology to
support your own CPD
Task 2: Consider how you can signpost, both colleagues
and students, to subject-specific online resources and
evaluate their usefulness
Task 3a: Provide links to social networks, blogs, forums,
email subscriptions, etc that you follow/take part in with
a reflective commentary.
Task 3b: Review these links and reflect on the
development of your own online identity and
contribution to an online professional network.
5. Week 8 - 16
Observation
• Each student will have the opportunity to be
observed using technology for learning in their
own setting. This will be done through a ‘walk
through’ style observation. This observation
will be recorded & shared via the class You
Tube channel.
6. Week 15

• Task 4a: Provide links to social networks, blogs,
forums, email subscriptions, etc that you
follow/take part in with a reflective commentary.
• Task 4b: Review these links and reflect on the

7. Week 12

• Task 3: Plan and deliver a lesson where you
present your guidelines for safe practice to
your students and engage in discussions on at
least one collaborative technology you would
like to use with them.
8. Week 16
4th Feb
Harness the enthusiasm of your students
• Task 4
– Evidence of planning should be provided through
lesson rationale (see lesson rational sheet for
learning outcome references)
– and demonstrated though links to materials and
resources.
– Provide evidence of evaluation though your
reflective journal, including evaluations from your
students and colleagues as appropriate.
9. Week 18
18th Feb
Spread the enthusiasm: use the skills you have
developed to support colleagues’ use of
technology in learning delivery
• Task 1: Develop an action plan to identify
opportunities and strategies to use and
disseminate practice in embedding technology
across your organisation.
10. Week 20
11th March
Spread the enthusiasm: use the skills you have
developed to support colleagues’ use of
technology in learning delivery
• Task 2: Plan, deliver and evaluate a support
program for a single or a group of colleagues.
