A figure of speech is a form of expression used to convey the meaning or heighten effect, often by
comparing or identifying one thing with another that has a meaning familiar to the reader or listener.
INTRODUCTION:
Today we are going to learn the figure of speech ‘Oxymoron’. The teacher gives flashcards to each
bench regarding the examples of Oxymoron.

The teacher gives the definition for the figure of speech ‘Oxymoron’.
‘An Oxymoron is usually defined as a phrase in which two words of contradictory meaning are
brought together’.
