 In this portfolio I make a brief collection of my electronic
evidence that I manage during the process of this module,
including all the important sites that I have used during the
development of it. All those things that have helped me in my
learning process as a student and as a teacher in order to
create a different way of learning through the use of
technology.

Profession: English Teacher
EDUCATION
She studied Technical Bilingual in English-Spanish
Place: at Gerardo Barrios University in San Miguel.
She graduated from it and got her first Diploma in 2008.
After that, she continued with her bachelor degree in English were she learnt a lot about different ways of
teaching in the classroom including how to use technology in the classroom for having better result in the
learning process of students. Also, she has participated in trainings such as “BETTER TEACHERS BETTER
STUDENTS”, “FUN FLUENCY ACTIVITIES TO IMPROVE COMMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCES AND FIRST ANS
SECOND CONGRESS OF ENGLISH”.
WORK EXPERIENCE
She has been working as an English teacher at EPITUR since 2012.
With students from age 12-24.
My Gmail account is an
important tool because it allows
me to read my messages, reply
right away, apply all relevant
labels to message.
Also I can have the mails saved
for the projects in which I am
working in. My Gmail account
help me to have access to other
important websites that help in
my learning process.
Google drive is a file
storage and
synchronization service
provided by google.
I use this to edit
documents,
spreadsheets,
presentations and
more. At the same time
at storage and share
documents
My blog has been helpful in
the development of this
module.
In my case I am going to
use in education. It is going
to be use as instructional
resource. For sharing
documents and information
with my students and
colleagues.
Rubrics have become popular
with teachers as a means of
communicating expectations
for an assignment, providing
focused feedback on works in
progress and grating final
products.
I will use this document for
an assignment by listing the
criteria that I am going to
evaluate in my students. At
the same time I will evaluate
their levels of quality from
excellent to poor.
 Web Quest is one of
the most interesting
because it increases
students motivation.
When students are
motivated, they are
likely to put in more
effort, and their
minds are more alert
and ready to make
connections.
I use this to make my
lesson plan and to
assign task to my
students.
My PLE are systems that help
learners to take control of and
manage their own learning.
In my PLE I set my own learning
goals, and I manage my own
learning, also, I can
communicate with others in the
process of learning.
My Personal Learning Network is very
effective for me as educator to grow
professionally.
It is personalized and based on my
professional interests and goals . I like
it because is a free means of
professional development available 24
hours from anywhere. In this picture I
provide some of the most important
social media tools that I used in order to
create my PLN.
Blended Learning is a fruitful
effort in integrating live
classroom activities including
face-to-face instructions along
with online learning and
instructions by utilizing the
best elements of all through
effective planning. It helps us
to change our traditional way
of teaching.
SlideShare is a web 2.0
based on slide hosting
service. I use to upload
files in format such as PDF,
Power Point an others.
Then, I embed to my blog in
which I published and share
with friends.
I used it for
publishing my
articles and share
files.
Such as, power
point presentation,
pictures, and other
stuff.

  • 4.  In this portfolio I make a brief collection of my electronic evidence that I manage during the process of this module, including all the important sites that I have used during the development of it. All those things that have helped me in my learning process as a student and as a teacher in order to create a different way of learning through the use of technology.

PERSONAL INFORMATION Name: Yenis Esmeralda Martinez Cueva Age: 25 years old Place of birth: La Union Profession: English Teacher EDUCATION She studied Technical Bilingual in English-Spanish Place: at Gerardo Barrios University in San Miguel. She graduated from it and got her first Diploma in 2008. After that, she continued with her bachelor degree in English were she learnt a lot about different ways of teaching in the classroom including how to use technology in the classroom for having better result in the learning process of students. Also, she has participated in trainings such as “BETTER TEACHERS BETTER STUDENTS”, “FUN FLUENCY ACTIVITIES TO IMPROVE COMMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCES AND FIRST ANS SECOND CONGRESS OF ENGLISH”. WORK EXPERIENCE She has been working as an English teacher at EPITUR since 2012. With students from age 12-24.
  • 6. My Gmail account is an important tool because it allows me to read my messages, reply right away, apply all relevant labels to message. Also I can have the mails saved for the projects in which I am working in. My Gmail account help me to have access to other important websites that help in my learning process.
  • 7. Google drive is a file storage and synchronization service provided by google. I use this to edit documents, spreadsheets, presentations and more. At the same time at storage and share documents
  • 8. My blog has been helpful in the development of this module. In my case I am going to use in education. It is going to be use as instructional resource. For sharing documents and information with my students and colleagues.
  • 9. Rubrics have become popular with teachers as a means of communicating expectations for an assignment, providing focused feedback on works in progress and grating final products. I will use this document for an assignment by listing the criteria that I am going to evaluate in my students. At the same time I will evaluate their levels of quality from excellent to poor.
  • 10.  Web Quest is one of the most interesting because it increases students motivation. When students are motivated, they are likely to put in more effort, and their minds are more alert and ready to make connections. I use this to make my lesson plan and to assign task to my students.
  • 11. My PLE are systems that help learners to take control of and manage their own learning. In my PLE I set my own learning goals, and I manage my own learning, also, I can communicate with others in the process of learning.
  • 12. My Personal Learning Network is very effective for me as educator to grow professionally. It is personalized and based on my professional interests and goals . I like it because is a free means of professional development available 24 hours from anywhere. In this picture I provide some of the most important social media tools that I used in order to create my PLN.
  • 13. Blended Learning is a fruitful effort in integrating live classroom activities including face-to-face instructions along with online learning and instructions by utilizing the best elements of all through effective planning. It helps us to change our traditional way of teaching.
  • 14. SlideShare is a web 2.0 based on slide hosting service. I use to upload files in format such as PDF, Power Point an others. Then, I embed to my blog in which I published and share with friends.
