Wordle Reflection Paper
More than anything else, I always strive to be a better teacher. To my excitement, I
learned in my educational technology class that I could improve standards for all, because
technology helps me facilitate learners' competency of 21st-century skill sets. As part of
obtaining proficiency in these skills, students must master digital literacy, problem-solving and
critical thinking. Students should increase responsibility for their learning, be inquisitive about
their world, and understand the importance of working together. If they do not learn these things,
they might experience challenges when searching for a job or connecting with others. I hope to
help students perceive that knowledge discovery is a life-long process and can happen anywhere-
not just in the classroom. Overall, technology provides me the tools to help students realize their
potential in our digital world.
Education Technology is an ever-changing industry, growing with technological
expansions and improving upon itself through research. Those who work in this area understand
education technology builds upon proven pedagogical practices. They study learning theories
and consider their importance when creating instructional designs. Learners benefit from their

instructors' training because their instructors can discern which kinds of technology is most
appropriate to pave the way for a meaningful learning experience
Most people who have heard about this field of study think only about online learning.
Even though this form of instruction is an important aspect, the truth is education technology is
widespread. When educators use technology to improve academic standards or for instructional
purposes, these techniques define part of the field. However, education technology encourages
informal learning as well. People can learn about anything by watching online do-it-yourself
videos. Others learn new languages or life skills by connecting with peers through an online
community of inquiry and social media groups.
I decided to study education technology for all these reasons and others I have yet to
discover. I wish to create an environment where innovative thinkers and successful leaders
emerge. I believe I will accomplish this task by merging my personal passions with technical
skill sets, thus allowing me to step into a role as a facilitator. Because my adult learning
experiences, I understand what it feels like to be an individual who had to overcome learning
challenges. Perseverance and maintaining a positive attitude during times when those goals
seem unattainable is what finish what I started. Therefore, I hope to continue my education after
I complete my master's program, so I am equipped to help adult learners in these situations.
My first step is to obtain an online teaching position while I complete my Ph.D. I then
wish to find a position where I can use technology to assist all individuals with their career goals.
I hope to help people overcome barriers by writing curriculum and educational software.
Designing and implementing universal design is the heart of my teaching practice and I wish to
use these concepts to help teachers find new ways to provide support for their students'
challenges. I intend to research this topic in detail during my program. Lastly, I would like to

work as a consultant evaluating online resources' accessibility for all learners. Technology is the
cornerstone of my future career.
