5. Our Propane Overview
We then decided that it would be best to install our
own propane re-fueling station with the following
reasons in mind

and coming up with a plan for the new site

7. Airport Shuttle Vehicles
Currently our Airport Shuttle vans average around
100,000 miles a year each
We have 45 vans that service Southeastern Wisconsin
with transportation to and from Mitchell International
and O’Hare International Airport
We Utilize Ford E-350 vans with a 5.4L engine in them
We chose to go with used 2009 model year vans
Highlights are hardened exhaust valves and valve seats
on new Ford vehicles
These vans had mileages between 30,000 to 100,000
miles when we completed the installs
8. Current Fuel mileages on the vans is about 11.5MPG
over a sample of 2,500,000 miles annually.
Our current cost of propane is on average less than
$1.50 per gallon with all taxes included
Our Estimated Return on Investment is less than 5
years (This is the case with and without grant
funding).
