  • 2. Cascading Workshop on Advanced Faculty Professional Development Program on “ Ensuring Training Effectiveness ”
  • 3. Program Theme/Overview This training aims to upgrade the knowledge and enhance the skills of academia and education managers in the area of management and delivery of training programs .
  • 4. Objectives
    • After the training participants will able to:
    • explain the training function in the context of human resource development;
    • conduct a TNA using appropriate methods and tools;
    • design a training program following a systematic framework;
    • select and/or develop training materials appropriate for the training contents;
    • deliver a training session using appropriate training methods/techniques;
    • apply facilitation and problem solving skills in a training situation;
    • manage training logistics and costs based on resource constraints;
    • develop training evaluation framework with appropriate evaluation tools
  • 5. Learning Outcomes:
    • The participants are expected to acquire the competencies from this program thus enabling them to conduct similar training for their colleagues in their departments and benefit others in respect of how to use appropriate technique in order to conduct work shops /seminars and use appropriate methods to analyze, study ,survey training needs.
    • This training will enhance skills of university lecturers.
  • 6. Need to Demeanor This Training:
    • Holding trainings on such themes is very essential as it will introduce some new concepts such as RBM,HRD,ICT, etc ;
    • it will also help lecturers not only to manage their class more effectively but also they will be able to organize and conduct worshops,seminars and trainings on their own.
  • 7. Training content
    • Module 1: Overview of the training function
    • Module 2: Needs assessment/Analysis
    • Module 3: Training Methods
    • Module 4: Training Materials (E-learning/ICT)
    • Module 6: Training Design
    • Module 7:Management / transfer of Training
    • Module 7:Result-based Management (RBM)
    • Module 8: Training Evaluation and Monitoring
