Humpback *– A funny whale !
A Whale - the word itself brings to the fore,
some one Huge , Enormous ,and large
a fish like but gentle giant figure
swimming quietly in seas and oceans at large
The humpback fits well in this scale
but its popularity also tells a tale
It is liked for its playful breaching acrobatics
suddenly popping out of water doing gymnastics!
holding high its bulky snout vertically
like the tip of a hillock or someone grown tipsy !
splashing water with its long large flippers
the largest arms in the world ! merrily
lashing sea surface with its large bulky tail
again and again in a very funny way
It is all so dramatic that many tourists stay
to enjoy the scene and have fun all day

But its fame rests on more of its several interesting ways
including its style of hunting in groups in a unique way
making rings of bubbles , netting fishes this way
by blowing air under water simultaneously ,so to say .
Its habit of singing a chorus of melodious songs
in tunes specific for each group of whales
signaling mates or friendsor warning rivals !
in frequencies which we can hear even 20 miles away
Last but not the least its pods travel regularly
between feeding and breeding grounds 8000 miles away
winning for themselves the venerable crown
of longest migrating mammals in the animals ways.
