This document discusses the University of Wollongong's (UOW) involvement with the OERu (Open Educational Resources university) as an anchor partner. As a blended university with both on-campus and online students, UOW is interested in using open educational practices to improve access and inclusion. The OERu allows UOW to build on its early work in distance education and disaggregate elements like content, support, assessment and accreditation. UOW sees opportunities through the OERu to open up delivery, support, design, evaluation and research using open educational resources and practices.
