2. Introduction
Can someone tell how they get somewhere? Why other
use tricycle or a car?
Inclined means something that is tilted so that a part of it
is touching a lower point. A plane is anything that is large
and flat, like a piece of wood. So, an inclined plane is a
large, flat object that is tilted so that it goes from a lower
point in space to a ramp. They use ramp to jump high
into the air.

To know the possible situations that we

5. Materials
Long Inclined plane – serve as the ramp
Short Inclined plane – serve as the ramp
also
Heavy book – use to be pilled in the
experiments
String – use to pull the books

6. Procedure
Prepare all the materials needed for the
experiment.
Put the long ramp in place. Put the book on the
lower end and pull it with constant speed.
Put the short ramp in place. Put the book on the
lower end and pull it with constant speed.
Observe. List all the similarities and differences
of the two inclined plane.

8. Result
Based on the data that have been gathered, pulling the
book needs lesser amount of force on longer inclined
plane, while shorter inclined plane needs greater amount
of force. Due with these observations, the book that is
being pulled is much easier to slide on longer inclined
plane compared with the shorter one. So we came up
with the result that the longer inclined plane is much
effective than the shorter inclined plane.

Based on the summary of findings, the
following conclusions were formulated;
Both longer and shorter inclined plane has
their varying characteristics.
Both longer and shorter inclined plane has
their benefits.
Longer inclined plane is better to use.

their functions with their usage.
Inclined plane will be more efficient if they
will be used properly.
