2. Introduction
• I have never personally made a music
video, or any of the sort. The technology
such as Final Cut Pro was very new to me,
so learning to use it was no easy task, at
times it was frustrating, but with the
guidance of teachers and fellow peers it
made it far easier to learn new ideas to
implement them into our music video.
3. Hardware Used
Canon Powershot SX40 HS – This
camera is by far the best I
personally have worked with, it
was efficient, it was HD ready
which made our video look
amazing
Tripod – This was another piece of
equipment used regularly, because
when we needed those still shots it
proved difficult without it. It helped
us traverse to different camera
angles and explore different
variations.
4. The Technology Used
• Final Cut Pro – Final cut pro is undoubtedly the
most efficient in constructing the music video. It
provided many helpful tools needed to create
the music video, there’s various amount of
different filters and effects to utilize effectively
in order to make a music video that conforms to
the specific genre and is fit for purpose
• Photoshop – We used Photoshop to help with
our magazine advert and digipak, which was
very efficient because we can alter and
manipulate the images to give them effect.
5. Feedback
• We are fortunate enough to have many friends who are very active in social media
such as Facebook, Youtube etc.
• We obtained most of our feedback from Facebook as the majority of contacts
were present there, and it allows people to voice their opinion, constructive
feedback which we used to help better the video.
• We also posted our project on Youtube, the great thing about Youtube is that
strangers can come and look and observe the video giving an unbiased opinion
which is to say the least the most constructive feedback one could argue.
• The feedback negative or positive was extremely crucial in constructing our music
video, because of their knowledge of contemporary music videos they are able to
chime in and correct where we are going wrong.
