Thanks to our 4 – 7 students. . .
Approximately 84% (67) of our 4 – 7 students responded to this survey. Proceed
through this presentation to see a summary of the results. Each question is
answered on a scale of 1 – 4 (1 – poor, 2 – needs improvement, 3 – good, 4 – very
good).
In additional to these questions, students included many helpful comments.
At SSB, staff, students, and parents answer quality assurance surveys each year.
The results from these surveys provide valuable feedback to our administration and
School Board when planning strategically for the future of our school.

Analysis of results
The Class 4 – 7 students at SSB are satisfied with their learning environment.
In particular, students are satisfied with the level of support they receive from
their teachers. More than 3,5/4 students say they are ”happy with their school”.
However, they do express some concerns. Specifically, the students feel that
our Learning Cycle should be improved. Schoolsoft, period planning
documents, and transition week are named as areas that could be improved to
help them in their learning. Although more than 90% say they have learned to
take responsibility for their own work, these school documents could still be
improved.
We are proud to read that 96% of Class 4 – 7 students would recommend SSB
to a friend.
