2. BURNS
Burns are A result of the effects of thermal injury on the
skin and other tissues.
Human skin can tolerate temperatures up to 42-44° c but
above these the higher the temperature the more severe
the tissue damage.
3. Treatment:
a. Cool burn area
b. Apply cool water 10 mins at least
c. Remove constrictions (if possible)
d. Do not pull away burnt clothing
e. Cover burn with sterile dressing
f. Hospital

Medical Treatment. Call
For Medical Help And
Apply Medical Treatment.
Involves All Layers Of
Skin And May Include Any
Underlying Tissue Or
Organs.

13. Electric Shock
The first step is to separate the person from the
source of electricity as quickly as possible. The
best way of doing this is to turn off the supply, for
example, by unplugging the appliance or by
turning the mains off at the fuse box.
