  3. 3. <ul><li>Causes: </li></ul><ul><li>burns – dry heat </li></ul><ul><li>- fire </li></ul><ul><li>- hot objects </li></ul><ul><li>- electricity </li></ul>Burns and scalds <ul><li>scalds – wet heat </li></ul><ul><li>- hot liquids </li></ul><ul><li>- steam </li></ul>
  4. 4. Burns and scalds <ul><li>What you will see: </li></ul><ul><li>redness </li></ul><ul><li>swelling </li></ul><ul><li>blisters </li></ul><ul><li>charred skin. </li></ul>
