  • 2. <ul><li>He was born in 28 th of June 1491. </li></ul><ul><li>His father was Henry VII. </li></ul><ul><li>He had six wifes and He introduced the new Church of England. So he broke his ties with Roman Catholic Church. </li></ul><ul><li>He died in 28 th of January 1547 </li></ul>Introduction
  • 3. More About Him <ul><li>He was a great player carts, so he won many bets. </li></ul><ul><li>He played well many sports, like the royal tennis. </li></ul><ul><li>He was a great musician, writer and poet. </li></ul><ul><li>He participedin reconstruction of some important buildings. </li></ul>
  • 4. His Reing <ul><li>He became king in1509. </li></ul><ul><li>He married with Catherine of Aragon, her first wife. </li></ul><ul><li>In 1516 Catherine had a daughter, Maria. The king began to believe that the queen was unable to give him a male heir. </li></ul>
  • 5. <ul><li>When the king was convinced that Catherine could not have more children, he became interested in Anne Boleyn, which later become the new queen. She had a daughter, Isabel. </li></ul><ul><li>Then the king sought to annul his first marriage. But the Catholic Church did not give its approval. </li></ul><ul><li>Then the king was forced to separate from the Catholic church and bought the new Church of England. </li></ul>
  • 6. <ul><li>King Henry began to lose interest in Anne Boleyn and became interested in another maid in his court Jane Semour. Then the king invented charges against Anne and in 1536 she was sentenced to death. Later Jane became a new queen. </li></ul><ul><li>Jane had the first son of the king, Edward in 1537. Jane died two weeks later. </li></ul>
  • 7. <ul><li>Later the king knew that his one only son was sick, then married again with Ana de Cleves to have another child. </li></ul><ul><li>But the king later decided to annul the marriage. </li></ul><ul><li>On 28 th of July 1540 the king married again with Catherin Howard. But she was unfaithful to the King and was sentenced to death as Anne Boleyn. </li></ul>
  • 8. <ul><li>Henry married in 1543 with his last wife Catherine Parr. She discussed with the king about religion, because she was Catholic. Despite this she had two daughters, Lady Mary and Lady Isabel. </li></ul>
  • 9. His death <ul><li>Henry VIII died 28 th of January 1547. </li></ul><ul><li>He was succeded by Edward, who would go to the throne in 1544 as Edward VI. </li></ul>
