Recruitment methods are continuously developing, and the Internet has altered the scene substantially in recent years. In these slides, I shared a summary of the most frequently used staff recruiting strategies and the way to get referrals
2. Different and Effective Ways of Recruiting
Direct marketing
Talent pool information systems
Internal referrals
Boomerang employees
Internships and apprenticeships
3. Events for recruiting
Word of mouth
Review websites for employers
Utilizing the gig economy
Passive candidates
4. Asking for Referrals
Three actions are required to obtain a successful
recommendation via LinkedIn:
Identify the appropriate individual
Communicate effectively
Follow-up
5. Referral template:
As noted, it can be helpful for you to write the actual referral
yourself and provide it to the referrer. Here’s an example of that
type of letter:
Hi [Hiring Manager],
My [former co-worker, colleague, employee, etc.] has applied for the Sales
Manager position and contacted me to ask a few questions about the job’s
scope. We worked together for several years at ABC Corp, and I’m confident
that he could provide real value here as well. Would it be all right if he contacts
you to talk about the job later this week? His email address is [email] and his
direct line is [xxx.xxx.xxxx].
Thanks,
[Your Referrer]
