3. HOW DO YOUR PRODUCT USE
OR CHALLENGE
CONVENTIONS AND HOW DO
THEY REPRESENT SOCIAL
GROUPS OR ISSUES?
4. Lush Life, sung by Zara Larsson is a song full of life and high beats. I chose this song
as I wanted to be able show some good dance moves and energy. Audiences who
hear this song will easily be able to grasp the energy derived from its beats and would
just love the lyrics. The genre of the music is dance-pop. So all the songs in the
album would have high tempo.
I took inspiration from the actual music video which is directed by Måns Nyman. As it is
a solo voice song, I have shown my friend singing the song at some scenes, while
dancing on other scenes. Hence it will be a good entertainment watch for the
audience. The video is showcasing a girl, who is kind off a party girl, who likes to
change onto new things fast, who smokes, drinks. Hence it is showing a little upper
social class of the society. This video represents all those individuals who are care-
free and just try to live in the moment to make most out of their lives. My video is
following the conventions, the dance and the energy, as well as some bright lights to
show case a happy mood. It can be used as a mood setter hence there is a story also
where she is telling about 2 different crushed she has.
6. HOW DO THE
ELEMENTS OF YOUR
PRODUCTION WORK
TOGETHER TO
CREATE A SENSE OF
BRANDING?
7. My digipack represents a lot of colors and design which means that the singer is the
art herself, and how she is full of life. It is also linking with the song, which is again a
high tempo song. The effects in the picture, and the background show water and a
painting representing how the singer is a fond of adventures by being at different
places, not staying at one place and just being free and going on in life.

8. To advertise further more I have thought to create merchandises like cups, shirt,
wallpapers, phone covers of the singer through dexpel.com
9. HOW DO YOUR
PRODUCT ENGAGE
WITH THE AUDIENCE
AND HOW WOULD
THEY BE DISTRIBUTED
AS REAL MEDIA
PRODUCTS?
10. The main audience for my music video will
be teenage girls, as this video is just
about how girls should not worry about
guys, and just live their life care-free and
in the moment. The lyrics of this song tell
us about how she has crushes on boys but
that doesn’t matter as such things come
an go. Teaching all the girls to just enjoy
their life when they have a chance.
As far as distribution is concerned, I will
share the music video in social networks
like facebook. The singer can promote the
song on her official snapchat and
instagram account too. Further more we
have the official website of the singer
where fans can go through her profile,
listen to her songs and even interact with
her.
11. The video is already on my Youtube page, it already has 277 views. I will also try to join
hands with multinational VEVO, for the worldwide distribution as it the best currently
and consists of the big 3; Universal Music Group (UMG) and Sony Music
Entertainment (SME), and Warner Music Group (WMG). This will help my video to
gain international recognition. Further more the video will be uploaded on vimeo.
13. The equipment I used included a Nikon D3200, with a
basic kit lens 18-55mm and a 50mm lens. I also
used a Nikon D7200 with a 18-140mm lens and a
tripod. The editing software I used was windows
movie maker, and movavi video editor. I learned
some editing techniques from friends while other
transitions I learned from youtube. Both these
software's are user-friendly and easy to use.
14. Making a website was a bit challenging for me as I had never ever created a website
before. I used wix for making my website, it’s a software that made my work really
very easy by giving me step by step directions. It was a great learning experience as
now i have grasped enough knowledge on how to do so. With the help of the internet I
found it was easy to create one. Website link :

15. I also emailed the record label who has produced
this song to seek permission; for using this song for
my portfolio.
