5. The Youth Discovery Latino Initiative is a K-
16 educational pathway program dedicated
to increase opportunities for underserved
youth, their families, and our community.
By making use of local connections and
resources to provide guidance, networking, and
engagement opportunities, the Latino Initiative
empowers participants to envision and build
intergenerational and intercultural chains of
knowledge and support that will strengthen ties
throughout the valley and carry our community
