“Uniting and Empowering American Youth through Study Abroad”
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The beginning of an APSA Scholar’s journey!
Since 2008, we have empowered
over 400 youth with the global
skills, experiences and connections
that can give them a competitive
head start.
!!
Our intensive study abroad programs are
designed for a diverse group of high
school students who would not otherwise
have the opportunity to travel abroad.
Each program integrates cross-cultural
awareness, personal and professional
development, as well as academic and
career exposure while the students
immerse themselves in a new country,
language and culture. !

Student Feedback:
70% of APSA Alumni have continued studying Chinese after
the China Scholars program.
95% of APSA Alumni say their own cultural awareness and
interest in China increased as a result of the program.
“The APSA program was the turning point of my academic
career. Not only did I catch the travel bug, but I fell in love
with the Chinese language. This program influenced my
choice to pursue a major in international politics at
Georgetown University and continue my Chinese studies.
Because of APSA I am where I am today and am proud to
call myself an APSA Alumni”
Benjamin Brooks, 2010 APSA Scholar
