Active to passive transformation To transform an active sentence to a passive one, we need to do some changes: Put the verb to be into the same tense as the active verb and adding the past participle of the active verb. The object in active sentance transforms to subject in the passive sentance. Example: Active Passive They are going to build a house here. A house is going to be built here.
- 5. Examples Active Passive He forgot the door open. The door was forgotten open. I have seen her on the street. She has been seen on the street. His wife had told me that he was coming.
