The website mentioned above has been created for the short film
called “FEATHERS”. Upon opening the website, we come across the
home page of the film where the film’s title can be seen on the top left
corner. On the top right corner, we see several tabs, showing the
categorization of the film’s intricate details. In the background, a picture
of a boy can ben seen who has furrowed his brows and is seen staring
intently at the camera. This helps give us an idea that the boy shown is
the main character of the short film. Upon scrolling down, the synopsis
of the film is shown so as to give us viewers an insight to the film. At
the very end of the page, the crew who made this short film possible, is
mentioned, starting from the production companies and ending to the
director of the film. A lot of companies were involved for supporting the
production of ‘FEATHERS’, so that builds curiosity among the viewers
to watch the film.

Once we open the ‘about’ page, all important details relating to the
film’s screenings, and briefings about the crew are mentioned. The
page includes the film festival where this film was shown at, and
also some details relating to where the film was shot and that it was
a funded project. The entire cast and crew of the film is also
mentioned on this page. The second tab is the ‘synopsis’ tab, where
the synopsis of the film is written to give us viewers an idea as to
what the story will be about. Once the viewers have read a synopsis
of any film, they can analyze what the film will be like and if it’s a
well written, interesting synopsis, then many people are likely to
watch the film out of curiosity and interest. The third tab is the
‘trailer’ tab, where the trailer of the film is shown. This helps the
audience to actually ‘see’ what the film will be like.
We then come across the ‘stills’ tab, where photographs from the
film can be seen. These photographs appear to be taken during the
filming for the short film, in order to capture the highlights of the film.
The photographs are well captured and each photograph has its
own story to tell, which may attract viewers.

the different film festivals where ‘FEATHERS’ was shown,
and all the awards the film won from the different film
festivals. Following this, we come across the ‘watch the film’

Website #2
https://www.leftyrightyfilm.com/
This website has been created for the short film called
“LEFTY/RIGHTY”. Once this website is opened, we come across the
home page of the site, where the title of the film is written in huge
capitalized letters to give emphasis on the film’s title. In the background,
we can see video clips, more like snippets of the film being shown,
instead of putting up a poster of the film. This is a very creative idea to
grab the interest of the viewers, as the moving background being shown
through the snippets of the film seeks the attention of viewers. On the
very top of the home page are the other different tabs for us to seek
information about the film. Upon opening the ‘about’ tab, we come
across a one-liner synopsis of “LEFTY/RIGHTY”, just to give some idea
to the viewers who want to know what the story is based on.
6. z Right below the one- liner synopsis of the film, all the awards which the film
was able to win are listed, which helps build a good impression for the
viewers who would be curious to know that what made this film win all these
awards. Underneath the awards is the trailer of the short film, which gives a
bit more glimpse as to what the film will be like. Some details related to the
film, just underneath the trailer video, can be seen, such as the duration of
the film, what the language of the film is, and when was it released etc. We
can then see a still shot of the main character on his horse. The fact that the
man is the only person shown in the shot helps determine that he is the only
main character of the film. The shot not only focuses on the main character,
but also the beautiful landscape, which helps us figure out the location of the
film. The page ends with the technical specifications mentioned, for all those
who are curious to know about the specifications involved when making the
film. The third tab is the ‘watch’ tab, where the short film is uploaded. At the
end of the page, another still shot from the film is shown, as the viewers can
get to analyze the nature/personality of the main character, just by seeing
the shot. We then come across the ‘team’ tab, which basically gives
information(more like briefings) related to the key cast and crew of
“LEFTY/RIGHTY”. People who watched the film may like a particular actor,
or some film producers(or film production companies) may like the work of
the director or some other crew member in the film, so may want to get
some information related to them. This is why such a tab is created.

The ‘press’ tab basically shows the reviews several sites
have given related to the short film. It also displays all the
interviews, as well as the multiple newspaper articles the film
was featured on. The page ends with a still shot, which is a
scene taken from the film. The last tab is the ‘contact’ tab,
which gives away the contact email id if anyone is interested
to work with the film’s cast and crew. We can also see
another still shot at the very end of the page, which is taken
from one of the scene’s in the film.
