2. A short film website is created for the purpose of promoting and
distributing a particular short film. It comprises of all the related
information and details of a particular film.
A short film website helps give an outlook and an overview of the film
and is extremely beneficial if a social issue is being targeted, because
this will help raise awareness of the issue being portrayed.
Such a website also helps display the links to the various social media
platforms where the short film is being promoted on.
A short film website comprises of certain tabs and each tab has its own
features which cumulatively help bring the website together.

3. The “about” tab comprises of the synopsis of the short film. This helps the audience to
get to know what the story of the film would be like. If it is an interesting one, or
something related to a social issue, many people, especially teenagers would be most
likely to watch the film.
The “watch now” tab is where the short film is usually uploaded. It is important to upload
the short film on the website as well, so as to make it more accessible and convenient for
the viewers.
The “cast and crew” tab is where the briefings related to the entire cast and crew are
shown, so that the audiences can get to know about the cast involved in the production
and the crew behind it all.
The “screenings” tab shows the screenings of the film i.e where will it be shown, and also
includes the awards the film has managed to win, as well as the nominations.
The “behind the scenes” tab includes the behind the scene videos made by the
production company, to show snippets of the film making process to viewers around the
world.

4. A contact page should also be included in the website so that the viewers may
want to give there own views relating to the film, or some filmmakers as well as
producers may approach the company for bigger projects if the film manages to
be an eye opener for them.
The poster and a teaser video may also be included so as to attract audiences.
