+ (5/19)(30) ]=98.39 minutes. For group aged 18-20, most of them spend almost one
hour and forty minutes. As for mean, it will be [ 4255/50 ]=85.1 minutes. However, view
it from the aspect of average, they spend almost one hour and twenty minutes in gym.
The range would be 120. Lastly , for the median, [ 60.5+(13/14)(30) ]=88.36 minutes.

The most welcomed facility for group aged 21-23 is machines such as rowing machines and
resistance machines. This is followed by cardio equipments which include treadmill and
stationary bike. This might due to the reason that these people want to build up their body
strength. However, group classes such as yoga and zumba classes are always good options for
them. However, for group aged 18-20, there are three facilities are quite welcomed by them
which are cardio equipment followed by machines and group classes. Then, few people prefer
to approach swimming pool and others.

It is fairly obvious that most of the people meet the problem of unclear instructions when using
the equipments. It is quite vital as unclear instructions mislead those gym devotees and
ultimately bring them injuries. The trend is then followed by zero problem during working out
session in gym and finally insufficient equipement that faced by them.

Conclusion
In conclusion, this survey successfully provided us valuable information about
devotion of people to gym. According to the survey we did, we realize that some of the
gymers can be so determine to work out in the gym for more than one hour especially
those body builder and for those people who aim to lose weight. We also realize that
some of the gymers just go to the gym for less than an hour, probably feeling tired or
lack of time, while some of them merely go gym to socialize and relax themselves.
Besides that, the biggest problem that we found out is some of the gymers do not know
the way of using the equipment in the gym room due to the unclear instruction. Last but
not least, from the survey we did, we found that most of the gymers expect to have
more gym rooms that are opened 24 hours daily so that they are more convenient and
have more choices of time to go for gym even after whole day of working or studying.
We truly thanks to all respondents and all parties that provide help when they
survey is on-going. We also advice and encourage people to exercise more, regardless
outdoor or in the gym. They should refer to experienced friends or seniors, or look for
advices and tutorial online before doing a workout so that they can reach their aim
effectively and avoid themselves from being injured. Taking care of your body
appearance is not a form of vanity, but is one of the ways to boost one’s self-confidence!

APPENDIX
Some survey are organised within Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. We may get
rejected sometimes as some of them never went to gym before.
Also, we organise our survey at several gyms, like Fitness First and Unigym.

  • 46. Conclusion In conclusion, this survey successfully provided us valuable information about devotion of people to gym. According to the survey we did, we realize that some of the gymers can be so determine to work out in the gym for more than one hour especially those body builder and for those people who aim to lose weight. We also realize that some of the gymers just go to the gym for less than an hour, probably feeling tired or lack of time, while some of them merely go gym to socialize and relax themselves. Besides that, the biggest problem that we found out is some of the gymers do not know the way of using the equipment in the gym room due to the unclear instruction. Last but not least, from the survey we did, we found that most of the gymers expect to have more gym rooms that are opened 24 hours daily so that they are more convenient and have more choices of time to go for gym even after whole day of working or studying. We truly thanks to all respondents and all parties that provide help when they survey is on-going. We also advice and encourage people to exercise more, regardless outdoor or in the gym. They should refer to experienced friends or seniors, or look for advices and tutorial online before doing a workout so that they can reach their aim effectively and avoid themselves from being injured. Taking care of your body appearance is not a form of vanity, but is one of the ways to boost one’s self-confidence!
