 Celador was a independent company that produced TV programs and sketch shows
productions that began in 1983. Celador was originally owned by Paul Smith and
Jasper Carrott under the owner ship of complete communication.Celador now own
18 radio stations. After being taken over by Complete Communications. Celador
entertainment now expanded makes many different films most recently slum dog
millionaire. After this celadon got 320 million dollars from Walt Disney for unpaid
profits, For the who wants to be a millionaire? Celador was offered to be bought
outright by 2waytraffic but was able to buy them selves from profits made by the
popular show Who wants to be a millionaire.

3. Operating model
 There are many ways to get investment for a movie this is ether from banks and
private investors or from in the movie. Thee are also other ways like having funds
from other productions and reinvestment. After having an investment from the BBC
Celador and after becoming self sustainable, also having some collaborations with
co funding bodies. Slum dog millionaire and the Who wants to b a millionaire was a
financial success for the Celador, and has created over 200 million dollars in profit.
Also with distribution of who wants to be a millionaire? To other country's around the
world added much needed revenue to the Celador company. As well as the DVD
release of the slum dog millionaire. Along with the revenue from Walt Disney and
there false use of the Who wants to be a millionaire? Franchise. The descent was
funded by selling the rights for distribution and sales in other county's and the
promotion from land rover and other Coors beer.

Celador is an entertainment company that covers a variety of different entertainment. Such as radio and TV
and even the big screen. And the profits made help the company develop and progress.

competitors
Celador as an independent film producer is destined to have competitors, such as Sony
productions, DNA films and Working Title. The Descent on of the leading movies made by
Celador is one of the best horror movies made with a budget of 3.5 millions pounds. And
making a gross profit of 37 million. This means they have a net profit of 34.5 million
pounds. This is different to bigger company's like Sony and there spider man 2 with a
budget of 131 million and an gross profit of 514 million pounds totaling a net profit of
383 million pounds. Finally the working title's Shaun of the dead had a budget 2.6 million
pounds and made 19 million with a net profit of 16.4 million pounds. Although Celador is
a low budget British organization the investment to profit ration is competitive to bigger
and wealthier organizations (Son productions). To conclude the descent is spends a lot
less money on its productions than Sony but is still competitive to DNA with DNA
having profits of 16.4 million and the descent having profits of 34.5 million. Making the
descent more profitable than Shaun of the dead.
