13. CRISTIAN RAMOS
Monday – Friday 5AM-8AM
Cristian Ramos, shares with all over 25
years of Radio Magic across the nation. He
has always demonstrated his talent as a
radio announcer, but is respected as an
expert in narrating “Jaripeos” and
“Deportes,” translated as Rodeos and
Sports.
Cristian Ramos was one of the stellar
Spanish Language announcers on La
Mexicana Radio for the Chicago Bulls –
Championships Back to Back 1991-1992. He
was also a favorite Spanish commentator for
the Chicago Cubs.
From 1993 to 1997 Cristian moved to the
number market in the nation, Los Angeles,
California with La Maquina 98.3. Upon his
return to Chicago from 1997 to 2000,
Cristian became the number one Spanish
language DJ on 107.9 FM.
He later became part of the on air team for
105.1 FM. His dedication and attention to his
loyal followers has earned him a great fan
base.

Margarita Vazquez, is recognized and loved
for her signature voice by Chicago’s Mexican
community.
In 1983 Margarita, first showcased her
charisma and charm when she was crowned as
the representative of the Mexican Civic Society.
Margarita’s passion for radio started when she
became part of a non for profit community
radio station, which offered aspiring students
free Journalism courses.
It was only a short matter of time, for
Margarita to be recognized for her talent and
become one of the best known on air talents
and program directors in Chicago.
She dove into television with a segment that
featured entertainers from the Mexican
Regional genres.
Her committed to her loyal followers was
further strengthened when she hosted a
community affairs program, “Ayudame
Margarita.”

Pedro Ivan Mesina, has always made an
impressionable mark as an on air talent, but
he is most respected as a premier program
director. Pedro’s ingenuity and relationships
have helped put together a Powerful team of
talent for PODER 97.5 FM.
Pedro’s Dynamic personality, positive energy
and joy are always projected at 110%.
Since his start in radio in 1992, Pedro has
held several notable positions in Mexico and
across the United States including: Production
Manager, Co-Host, Announcer, the Official
Voice, On air Talent and Programmer.
During his 3 years as program director in
Chicago, Pedro helped drive his station to
number one in the Hispanic Market.
Pedro’s skills have gone beyond radio and
have included his participation as a special
guest and cohost for several Chicago
Television programs.

Beto Carreto, has earned a solid rapport within

newspapers.
Beto has created a very strong bond with his loyal
followers. His individual style and gregariousness
project effortlessly across radio and television. His
humor is clean and pristine.
His all around work ethic is uncanny and has

Beto’s is proud to be a native from Puebla. He
