2. Twitter
I kept hearing about Twitter from my
students and I was like “that’s twitty”.
One time it snowed during class and they
all were talking about how it got tweeted
and I was like “Wait, if you can’t use your
cell during class, then…..”
But it has been useful for commiseration
and consultation with teachers and the
course instructor.

So when I told my students (who are now my
former students) that I had to get a twitter for
this online course, they laughed.
I feel that it has been useful for finding out about
some current stuff going on in teaching and as I
make my move back to English & History from
Math, it should help….and also for sharing

4. Online Bookmarks
So I started kind of slow on this one, I just
started collecting bookmarks.
Problem was, I would start looking at
everything on the websites and just
reading…..2 hours later I’m up to my teeth
in Post WWII German History and I still
have to get more bookmarks and put the
baby down.
Overall pretty informative…..
5. Online Bookmarks (cont’d)
So I did a stack on History, one on
English, one on Geometry (then I pretty
much quit on this one as I quit my job this
week) and one on marching percussion
links.
6. Social Network
I also started slow on this, but I put up a
page for Penncrest Drumline….didn’t get
many sign ups for it, but it could have to
do with the fact that I just set it up…..
The Edmodo was a lot easier to use than
the other sites, just for ease of use and
how it works.
7. Others
Quite honestly, I struggled with this part
of the course as I am running out of time
and had problems with setup on this last
part of the course. So I did a website build
with wix…..I built a site to market myself
as a percussion consultant.
I also posted some information on my
current work with the Penncrest
Percussion program.
