5. Before the class I had no idea other search engines existed. What a the heck a Moodle was.. Cased in Microsoft Office never knowing about Prezi, etc. No clue that Google had more uses other than a search engine or email provider. Did not know that technology had moved into the classroom so quickly that there were standards.
7. But then there was ED 271… This class was not just an SOE requirement, but a learning experience. I figured that all I had to do was a little power points here and there some papers, then that’s it. Another passing grade!?
8. So I figured… This class was going to be all roses and butterflies. No complications.
9. YEAH RIGHT!NOOOO WAYYYYY! I was tricked… No powerpoints! And a lot of hard work. Plus I had to step outside my comfort zone and try using a Mac.
10. I fELT LIKE… I was a character from that movie Psycho. How will thissemester end?
11. So everyday I took the class one step at a time. More like one assignment at a time.
14. Especially when it Came to Learning… All of Google’s different applications. I was instantly smitten. The internet did not seem so boring anymore.
15. I never knew about these Issues Before: Cyberbullying Phishing and Pharming Sexting So I now I know there are resources online that an help me.
16. Most Importantly I learned To appreciate the internet more. And that there are so many websites out there that I have yet to discover. Also how to create a lesson plan based on the ASSURE model. :D
17. After the Class I will not fear technology. The internet is not boring Education and technology are intertwined more than ever before Must remember to utilize these tools, when I start teaching or in my other classes.
