2. What is Web 1.0?
Web 1.0 is the first stage in the World Wide Web (W3). It is made up of web pages
that are connected by hyperlinks.
It was a set of static website that was not providing interactive content to the
users.
The applications were also proprietary.
3. Web 1.0
Web 1.0 was created in 1989 purposely to meet the demands for automatic
information-sharing between scientist in universities and institutes around the
world.
Web 1.0 sites and tools are static which contains useful information that never
changes and does not allow the creator of the web page to update his/her page.
Visitors and users can visit the site without interacting or contributing to it.

Web 2.0 was then created
because Web 1.0 was 1
dimensional and not
interactive in the least.
6. What is Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 is a collective term given to certain applications of the Internet
and the World Wide Web (W3).
This may include blogs, wikis, video sharing (e.g. YouTube), and social media websites
like Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace.
All the technologies and software's are combined together to allow people to interact,
collaborate ,create, and share information and to communicate with each other.
When Web 2.0 came into existence, it enables the process of two-way communication
to take place.
7. Web 2.0
Whether it is on social networks, skype, twitter or any of the applications, it allows
people to communicate.
For example; Loop PNG website posts news online and creates a section for users
to leave their point of views and comments.
Internet has a great influence on our daily lives and by this we must understand
the importance of web 2.0 by observing all the significant application it
represents.
