Production is always a very important prospect for any kind of
any industry.
As per the requirement for the project work to find industry
defined problem they visited the Jupiter technologies.
Company. The company is basically an Air Operated pressure
reducing Valve (PRV) manufacturing company. It manufactured
different Air operated pressure reducing Valve, Control and
On-Off Valve, Etc.
There we find some issues during production work. But among
all that the major issues is insufficient pressure on Compressor
Head production system.
Thus it increases the production rate and reduced the
production time. Therefore the production rate and reduced the
production time. Therefore as a solution of this problem they
are cleaning & proper Maintenance.

In every field of education imported to the “STUDENT
PRACTICAL VISIT”, if possible should be given to the student.
This will help the student to bring out & exhibit the qualities,
which is no way can. Be exhibited by theoretical visit. It helps us
to get a better prospectus and understanding of working
condition of the various industries.
Under this practical visit, one has to be there in the company
work there collecting information and prepare a report on visit.
In this project I have to do visit of 07 days of and industrial unit,
which is medium scale industry. During visit time we are
required observe all aspect of company and then prepare
project report.

Uses in manufacturing
1. Cuts the impeller of pump if the size of impeller is

The main parts of radial drilling machine are
Base
o The base of the machine is large cast iron
material on which is mounted a cylindrical
vertical column. The base is provided with T-
slots, which helps the w/p to be clamped rigidly
to the base of the machine.
Vertical Column
o The column is long, cylindrical shaped part
fastened rigidly to the base. The column carries
a radial arm that can be raised or lowered by
means of electric motor and can be clamped to
any desired position. The radial arm can also be
rotated in complete circle around the column.
Drill Head
The drill head is mounted on the radial arm and
carries a driving motor and a mechanism for revolving
a feeding the drill bit into the work piece.

During Our visit as per GTU Schedule for Training In JUPITER
TECHNILOGIES LIMITED Company .I Found There are some
Problems like in Air Compressor Which is insufficient pressure
on compressor head I” and it have provided solutions to this
given Problems.
Excessive noise in operation.
Knock - same cycle as R.P.M.
Oil in discharge air.
Compressor vibrates.
Air blowing out of inlet.
Excessive discharge air temperature.
Compressor suddenly stops working.
Insufficient pressure on compressor head.
From Above Problems I find “insufficient pressure on
compressor head’ are more importations for the company ‘s

Remove discharge line flex hose and check for
pressure build-up by holding finger over discharge
outlet fitting. If low pressure build-up occurs, head

Conclusion:-
Finally we conclude that the major Problem is some
Compressor Head Runs but Will Not Pressurize to 100 PSI
which creates problem in production system. Therefore
when we do the Proper Maintenance during specific
period of time than machine would required less
maintenance and thus Overall productivity of company can
be increased.
