their subjects. For eg:
The teacher can place lesson material on the VLE
in the form of electronic files. The student will then
download and open the file to complete the task.
Students can upload their homework to the VLE

student to use.
Contribute to and participate in discussions with
classmates and other schools via the various
tools or students can share work, so they can
work together on a project.

It can sometimes appear be complicated to use.
If the internet or network is down, then the VLE
cannot be accessed.

Although many schools now requires teachers to
place work for their students on the school VLE.

Virtual labs as a simulated interaction
encompassing the contributions of technology,
educational theory and individual human
influences.
Virtual labs are becoming more accessible to
many students at an unprecedented rate.
They provide environments in which learners can
demonstrate a transfer of knowledge from
theoretical to practical application.
