Lieutenant Morse response was "It is a great collaboration tool". It allows you, your unit/office, and DOD personnel a place to access documents,
upload files, and check dates and tasks in one location. SharePoint provides you with a central location for all of your documents, files, and calendars.
Within my section we use this capability to ensure all users has the ability to upload and change information within our section.
Question 2, "What are some other resources used to facilitate Knowledge Management"? Lieutenant Morse response was: The organization has
implemented several systems that they currently use on a daily basis. The knowledge Management Officer has built trackers per section, digital
routing, Microsoft outlook, sharing of calendars. The sharing of the calendars allows other personnel to view and connect at any time. If the system
has an update it provides an alert. The alert notifies individuals of any updated changes to the library, tracker, or any document.
The Knowledge Management Officer conducts a monthly meeting with the Representatives for each section/ unit. During this meeting they discuss
any updates, or issues the sections may experience.
Question 3, "What are some of the shortcomings of the current systems used"? The calendars don't feed into a master calendar. The SIPR can't create

Cate: A Short Story
There really wasn't anything more for Jack to do except sigh and run his fingers through his hair absentmindedly, a habit left over from the days
when it was far longer. He eased onto his elbows, then moved forward until he was sitting up completely, stretching a body that had gone still with
resignation. As much as he liked being contrary, playing by his own rules, he knew when not to push someone. He usually ignored that knowledge and
pushed and pushed anyway, but he couldn't do it to Cate. Not now. Not when she didn't want him fighting back. He wanted what she wanted, when it
came down to it. All of the fight in him, renewed by his deliberate disobedience when she had suggested he leave, dissipated the second she touched
him. He was so damn... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On some level it was a selfish reminder to her, on another, it wasn't like Julian had gotten home. Keys, wallet, he had everything except that. All
that was left was her. It felt domestic, promising to help her get dressed. Jack couldn't remember if he'd ever done it. Usually, he was asleep, or
pretending to be, when Cate slipped out. It was instinctual, he never had to say goodbye to her, or anyone he'd ever shared a bed with, if he did that,
that cool nonchalance after he'd gotten what he wanted. It probably made him a player, if everything else about the way he lived his life didn't make him

From IT Infrastructure to ITaaS
What is the cloud? Many say they are those white puffs in the sky. True, but those are not the clouds that are referred to in the Information
Technology industry. The cloud that IT professionals speak of is a place that isn't seen but is known to exist. Dropbox, Box, Google Drive,
OneDrive, iCloud Drive; all different types of "cloud" storage options for securing your music, documents, and other kinds of files. There are many
different uses for the cloud in the life of a professional. Box, for example, is mainly designed to share documents and files between users in a more
formal business setting. On the other hand, Google Drive, Dropbox, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These data center switches become the Fabric Interconnect between the UCS', and those two products combined help to make cloud storage possible.
There are other companies that are using services and products to make this happen; such as EMC and NetApp.
The cloud is increasingly becoming a very common reality in the IT industry. The idea of storing files in places other than the hard drive of a computer
or the server in the next room has opened a door for new beginnings and unending possibilities. Many companies have IT departments that are internal
to their company. Without these IT departments many companies would have many non working computers, networks, and other office devices that
would hinder the business from making money. The current IT infrastructure is mostly maintained and operated in–house by contracted employees that
usually have a great knowledge of general electronics and computers. Being that IT is so important to how companies work it is always under
scrutiny to continue to develop. With the cloud in mind there has recently been talk about how IT could use the cloud to advance their efforts.
Information Technology as a Service (ITaaS) has become a new reality for some companies. The idea is that IT organizations can use the cloud to
move away from an Infrastructure platform to a Service model.
This ITaaS model promotes IT being setup to be much more effective than it currently is. One concept from this

Pet Peeve Research Paper
My Pet Peeve Is People With Too Many Pet Peeves Introduction Some people seem to enjoy complaining. The saying "misery loves company"
explains a lot. When someone starts to complain, often others like to join in with their stories of woe. I dought we ever, in the entire history of
mankind have as many complainers as we do today, in the 21st century. No one becomes newsworthy for looking on the bright side of things. We
feel it our daily mission to voice our pet peeves in a tweet or a facebook post. A pet peeve is something someone can never resist complaining about.
As you may know from the title, my pet peeve is people that have to many pet peeves and voice them constantly. I feel this can hurt their family life,
work life... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Grumbling about your family may rub off on others in the family, hurt each other unnecessarily or promote self pitty; complaining at work brings
down the overall mood and does not promote teamwork. Voicing every pet peeve to your friends can make them feel uneasy around you as they
wonder what they do to piss you off like everyone else because bad complainers spread negatively. Maybe it's best with your family to not sweat the
mildly annoying pet peeves. What children would want to commit their lives to a church that their parents always complain about. And, will a child
that consently hears murmuring from their parents about their grandparents learn to respect their elders as they should? It only makes sense that
grumbling parents raise grumbling kids, and grumbling kids turn into grumbling adults. Constantly voicing pet peeves and complaints at your job can
cause problems and shape how people perceive you. A general atmosphere of dissatisfaction grows when there is complaining in the work place. If
you come across as intolerant, you convey to others that you're a slow adapter and picky. A seasoned complainer rarely takes personal ownership,
which only highlights the powerlessness that got them complaining in the first place so, chill out! No one is perfect and you are annoying

Confidential And Proprietary Information Case Study
In 2012, Hanjuan Jin attempted to leave the country with 30,000 dollars in cash as well as some documents from Motorola that were clearly labeled
"confidential and proprietary information". Not only did Jin have information about Motorola's trade secrets, she also had documents from the Chinese
military, which could lead some people to believe that she was doing this for the Chinese government, especially because she had a one way ticket to
China. Soon after this took place she was arrested and then sentenced to 4 years in prison for stealing trade secrets which involved Motorola
telecommunication. The judge however did not believe that the military documents were enough to convict her that she was attempting to benefit the

Platinum Box Case Study Essay
Executive Summary The new business venture to produce quality boxes for the U.S market has created a requirement for Platinum Box to source
five new presses. The three bids to supply these presses were from Merakuri, Jabaking and Pnutype. Each bid had its attributes over the other.
Finding a way to fairly evaluate each bid was needed. A Weighted Evaluation System was chosen. Four factors were used to evaluate the bids. They
are: Performance & Quality, Service, Price (total cost of purchase determines the pricing factor) and Financing. By applying a value to each, a better
evaluation of the bids can be made. Performance & Quality was perceived to be of utmost importance to the point where the success of the project
depended on it.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The selection process is further complicated by Platinum Box plan to expand to 500,000 boxes per year in three years requiring more presses so
the desire to form a relationship with a quality supplier is of importance. By using a Weighted Evaluation System as a tool we can better
understand the bids and their attributes. Because not all the four factors Performance, Service, Price and Finance have the same importance a
value or weight has been assigned. Merakuri Jabaking Pnutype Performance 40 35 20 30 Service 20 20 15 15 Price 20 15 20 10 Finance 20 15 10 20
Total 100 85 65 75 Some of the reasoning behind this weighting is based on the importance of Performance & Quality as a sourcing criteria thus it is
given a weight of 40 compared to the other three at 20 equally for a total of 100. Performance has such a high weight because it encompasses such
factors as

Personal Narrative : My Life Of River Rafting
My life flashed before my eyes right before I was about to get crushed by a rock 10 feet taller than I was. This story will tell the time I went white
river rafting and almost died. Being on vacation doesn't always mean everything is perfect. While I was rafting, the whole experience took a turn for
the worst. I was suddenly gasping for air as the malicious currents dragged me down wanting to trap me in their home forever. My body weak and
exhausted from being toyed around with by the water, I fell into an unconscious state. I started to remember the car ride to my rafting destination. Upon
arriving, I was given my equipment and a set of instruction to follow. My sister, her friend and I were paired up with our tour guide and headed on
with our three hour journey across the Pacuare River. Little did I know that my life was close to being put to an end. The rest is history, I was just
happy to make it out alive. River Rafting is known to be an extreme adventure activity. The experience takes about three hours total. With usually a
group of four, the people are placed in a squared yellow raft with each person holding a paddle board. Depending on which river that is chosen to raft,
there are five levels. Level number one is when the current is peaceful and level number five is when the current is at its strongest and can possibly
flip your raft over. Sitting opposite from each other on the edge of the raft, the guide tells you what direction to paddle and when to duck into the

The Reflection Of A Interview With An Interviewer
In the roughly eleven–minute interview with my client, Alex, we discussed her need for case management services. She established her concerns that
she wanted to address with me, as well as her current status in education, living arrangements, social supports, along with her history in the same
areas. We also began to discuss (informally) the goals that she intends to reach with help of my services and other services she may be referred to.
During the process, I learned about Alex's strength and resilience. I also learned a lot about myself as an interviewer.
Initially, I was worried about covering everything that was required in terms of client information in the interview. I thought that it would take too
long, and that I wouldn't be able to have a conversation with the client, and instead I would just be asking questions one by one. As the interview
proceeded, and I focused on using open and closed questions, I realized that the session would go quite smoothly. Alex was really willing to discuss
her medical and psychological background, and made it clear that why she was meeting with a case manager. I found it easy to initiate the session, and
was able to ease into discussion about her concerns and objectives.
My goals for the session were to introduce myself to the client, understand the client's concerns, learn her background and current situation for several
areas relevant to her life and her concerns, such as medical, family, legal, educational, and vocational. I

Information And Knowledge About Bigchange 's Operation And...
In order to gain more deep understanding and knowledge about BigChange's operation and future plan, the researcher conducted an in depth interview
with the founder of the company who is also the current CEO. Hence, this part of the chapter 4 will display five main topics of the research collected
from the interview as well as providing some direct quotes of the CEO.
4.4.1.Company Overview
It is essential for the researcher to gain insights into the operation and development of BigChange. The CEO responded with meticulous answers about
current situation and growth strategies. To illustrate, the CEO believes his company is in the early phase of growth. Though they have just offered
their services and products for 2 years, their performances in the market are remarkable with the annual revenue of ₤2 million. Moreover, he
estimates the market share that the company has gained after two years working is from 0.5% to 1% and he confirms that the UK telematics is one of
the biggest markets in Europe. Thus it seems to take BigChange more time and efforts to achieve its ambition as a market leader.
When asking about the current strategy of BigChange, the CEO demonstrated that they are providing services and products to specified industries in
the UK by creating different industry sites. Then they introduce sites and services to a customer coming from those industries, it will be timesaving and
easy to offer and customise the sites. Furthermore, he illustrated that services can be a

Reflection On Personal Conflict
Oxford defines Conflict as "a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one."
The most recent conflict I had encountered was one that is related to my work. I currently work at an IT company in Israel as an Office Manager. I
have been working here for about two and a half years and am pretty content with the job as I know all the loops and holes of the daily tasks that
need to be done. Recently, I have received an offer from another IT company, that would like to meet with me and offer me a job at their company. I
went to an interview with this other company and a day later they told me that they were interested and would like to continue the hiring process with
me.
That's when my personal conflict started. I had been working in a place that I liked not for over two years, with nice conditions and friendly
co–workers. On the other hand, this other job is offering me a higher salary than what I am making now, while my current job place has never
offered to give me a raise of any kind although I have been in situations in the company where I had to take on additional tasks that were originally
outside of my job description.
I will use the Ladder of Inference to try and understand my conflict and hopefully be able to decide where it would be better for me to be in terms of a
job place.
The ladder consists of seven steps: Reality and Facts, Selected Reality, Interpreted Reality, Assumptions, Conclusions, Beliefs, Actions.

My own experiences having raised three children, two girls and a boy have shown that access by them to technology such as the computer, other
technological devices and access to the internet and television programming have contributed to aspects of their own self development which were
not available to their predecessors and in my own considered judgment, based on these developments allow for a level of maturity beyond their young
ages. Given the observations on growing p too fast, as discussed above and inclusive of research and findings by Hymowitz (1998) which articulated
on trends observed n the society in which his daughter grew up, supporting discussions by the Sunday Sun ( 2011); Hughes (2009); Wilson ( 2008) and
my own experiences in observing the phenomena of children maturing at an earlier age than their predecessors, I submit and support the thesis
statement that children are growing up much faster currently than their predecessors based on the evidence provided in the discussion which support
such conclusions. III.SECTION 3 CONCLUSION The phenomena of young children developing a more matured status as opposed to their
predecessors have been noted by a number of researchers. This development have been attributed to a number of factors related to technology, exposure

How Art Has A Strong Influence On Finding A Person 's...
In our current technological era, the beauty of art and literature has been forgotten despite its heavy importance in the past. For my
Rhetoric–In–Practice project, I wanted to create a product that corresponds with the message of Emily St. John Mandel's Station Eleven. I created a
website that highlights the message of the novel that art has a strong influence in finding a person's identity. This website is intended to be accessed by
a technological literate audience of all ages since this type of audience tends to be the ones who prefer technology over art and literature. The purpose
of this website is to introduce Station Eleven, and make my audience realize that the use of art to reflect and express themselves is important for their
physical and emotional health. The use of Station Eleven with this project was crucial due to the fact that the novel contains characters, which I used
on the website, that are relatable to many types of audiences. The thing that fueled me to create this project was research and personal experience.
Being in a big family I notice that lack of people in my family who have creative influence with their lives being surrounded by technology. It is hard to
see my younger cousins who value their iPads more than their books. Through research, I found statistics showing that the amount of people of own
technology through the years. The Pew Research Center has numbers that show the continuous annual growth of technology ownership with cell phones

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Pontiac Bandit
Anton's Review of Brooklyn Nine–Nine "The Pontiac Bandit" Brooklyn Nine–Nine is a successful comedy show with extremely high ratings in its
genre winning numerous awards such as the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series (Comedy) in 2014. Does the show live up to the hype that
surrounds it? Are its ratings accurate? This essay will spotlight the show's characters, discuss its negative aspects, and highlight the show's drawing
points to determine whether Brooklyn Nine–Nine is deserving of its praise and glory. What makes Brooklyn Nine–Nine appealing to many viewers, are
undoubtedly the characters and their personalities. From an enthusiastic and somewhat socially awkward detective Boyle, to the invariably cold and
serious captain Holt, Brooklyn Nine–Nine manages to create a very pleasant atmosphere of radically different people who are forced to
collaboratively work together to solve interesting and oftentimes intriguing mysteries. My favourite character of the bunch was detective Charles
Boyle. Not only did the actor playing Boyle make the character as realistic and believable as possible, but I felt as if Charles was the main source of
comedy throughout "The Pontiac Bandit". I... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Magnifying The Moment
"Oh Geez, is this really necessary?" Monique shook her head, her arms crossed over her chest in disapproval. I shook my head smiling, not
looking at her but at the vast ocean ahead of us. We stood at the top of the Bronze Rock Cliff, looking below at the dark lapping waves. "Please,
I've done this plenty of times. Come on give it a try." I said, trying to convince Monique to do something daring for once. Monique held her ground.
I sighed and made my way to the edge of the cliff. I would just have to show her it's completely fine. "Come on! Let's get back home! It's so late.
Mom won't let you have any dinner if you are soaking wet." I waved her off. I stepped closer to the edge. The wind howled from this height and
whipped my hair around my face furiously. "Here I'll show you. It's totally fun." I said. I readied myself for diving. I looked down. It was
intimidating how far down the ocean actually was and my heart started to beat a bit faster. But I would never let Monique know that. Why was I
worried? I had done this plenty of times. And only one person had died from doing this, and that was years ago. Besides, it was a suicide, not an

The Combat Oriented Tasks Of The Tradoc Pt Manual
Once the analysis of the current APFT exercises have been completed the research will move on to the combat oriented tasks described in the
TRADOC PT Manual. This leads us into stage two of the research. The tasks describe within the manual can be found within chapter 13 of the
manual. The TRADOC manual is also Army wide guidance concerning what types of tasks Soldiers must be able to perform in combat situations. The
actions prescribed in the manual will be evaluated on the same criteria as the current APFT format. The tasks specifically include: marching, running,
lifting from ground and overhead, lunching pushing and rotations. These actions will again be broken down into the different body actions used in
each movement and associated with the type of muscle contractions used. The TRADOC Tasks will be categorized and their characteristics identified
on the following graph.
The third stage of this research will be conducted through electronic survey. By conducting all surveys through electronic means the study will be able
to read a wider audience and a larger participation group in a more efficient way. By using themilitary global email system email surveys can be sent
according to personnel who have served in the different theaters more expediently. The survey will be simple and consist of asking service members
from various theaters to choose a set of combat tasks that are applicable to their combat experience. It will also ask soldiers who have no deployed on a

With so many options with materials, colors, and textures, tile is a versatile finish that can be used on walls, floors, and countertops. One of the
challenges with tile, however, is keeping it clean. Everyday living can be hard on tile. Dirt and grime can smudge the surface and settle into the grout
lines. Professional cleaning is the best way to maintain the tile and grout to glistening perfection.
Here are 10 benefits you will get when you have your tile and grout professionally cleaned.
1. Gives you brand new looking tile
Older tile has a charm that newer tile just does not have. The problem with older tile, though, is that it can look tired and worn just because it is dirty
from years of use. A professional cleaning can change that.

These microscopic organisms take hold in the tiny crevices and cracks found in tile and grout. If left unchecked, mold and bacteria can actually pose a
health hazard to the people living in the home.
A professional cleaning can eliminate mold and bacteria growth in tile and grout. The steam kills the microscopic organisms and flush them away. It
leaves behind a clean, almost sterile surface.
3. Improves the look of your home.
When tile and grout is looking dirty and old, it will bring down the look of your entire home. You can have freshly painted walls, brand new furniture,
and even a brand new kitchen. But, if your tile looks dirty and unkempt, it won't matter.
Having a professional clean all the tile and grout in your home will give it a fresh appearance. That will make the rest of your home look like the
shiny showcase you envisioned.
4. Does not damage the tile or grout
If you try to clean the tile in your home yourself, you are going to need to invest in a number of cleaners. Granite requires a different cleaner than
ceramic tile. Tiles with texture need special care while hand–made tile needs a special

Expand Current Operations:
Because Good Hotel has demonstrated positive gains and performance I do not feel expansion is a wise decision. Though the current trends show
increases, the data trend is only 17 months, not long enough to support this decision.
Discontinue Current Operations:
Lastly, there is sufficient data to support continued operations therefore; to discontinue operations I feel would not be wise. JdV has found a niche
market who is willing to pay the increased cost to visit Good Hotel.
3. How would you characterize Good Hotel's target customers? American sociologist Paul Ray coined the phrase "Cultural Creatives" or Lifestyles of
Health and Sustainability (LOHAS)". (Pearce, 2012, p. 10–5) This is a population of people who seek a better world for themselves and their children.
However, Exhibit 3 demonstrates the household income for the target audience at $65,700 (Brooks, S) not allowing enough expendable income to
support frequent stays at Good Hotel. However, this is only a segment of a customer base consisting of 38 million people with the spending power of
$209 billion annually according to the Natural Marketing Institute. (Pearce, 2012, p. 10–5)

MEMO
To: Board of directors of Magik Storage Containers Limited
From: Darcy Thompson, CFO
Date:July 4, 20x5
Subject:20x5 financial results and its effect to the expansion plan and market share growth
After completed the draft financial statements, I noticed that two ratios do not meet the bank's requirement. These are current ratio and debt to equity
ratio. Therefore, $750,000 line of credit will not be proved by the bank. Even though, since these covenants are required for lower MSC's borrowing
rate by 1.5%, the bank will raise this rate again. MSC will spend more on interest costs.
MSC can only issue shares to finance the expansion plan. Actually, using line of credit is not a good choice. Current ratio = currentasset/current liability
= 11,977/8462=1.42. If adding $750,000 to current liability, the new ratio will be 11,977/ (8,462+750) = 1.3. It is far from the bank's requirement.
However, if MSC finance the expansion by issuing shares, MSC can at least meet two covenants: debt to equity ratio and working capital of sales
which meets requirement already.
Currently, debt to equity = total liability/shareholders equity = 16,027/8,447 = 2.22%. But if adding $3,750,000 to equity, the new ratio will be 16,027
/ (8,447+ 3,750) = 1.54 which meets bank's requirement.
As for current ratio, only 0.3 (bank: 1.45 – MSC: 1.42) difference from the requirement. The company needs to pay off some of its

Taa 18-22 Case Study
The Army has already established the need for maintaining an operational reserve, through former and current TAAs, capable of breaching AC
capability gaps to meet joint force requirements. However, the analysis lacks resources to accomplish this guidance effectively. The demand for RC
forces requires generating more operational unit readiness to fully complement the rotational force pool to meet the deployment demand at the same
standard as the AC. After conducting a Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities andPolicy
(DOTMLPF–P) analysis, both overarching recommendations address an identified capability requirement and associated capability gap that could be
mitigated with a non–materiel solution with changes or existing capabilities in five, organization, training, personnel, facilities, and policy, of the eight
functions.
Recommendation: Maintain current RC force structure capacity and capabilities highlighted in TAA 18–22 in order to preserve the capacity of an
operational reserve to meet Army's joint capability requirements.
Recommendation: Increase the statutory available ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To implement the recommendations the organization needs to maintain the current force mix and capability distribution currently allocated in TAA
18–22 and future TAA 20–24 must maintain a balanced force that would provide necessary flexibility to maintain an operational reserve. In spite of
recent force turbulence, the current force sizing and rebalance initiatives should stabilize RC formations to preserve the Army's strategic depth while
providing enough balance to complement operational capabilities across all components. The current force mix and structure appears to meet current
joint demands and the RC cannot afford to reduce the already lean force if they are to keep up with the operational demand. Leveraging the operational
reserve current capacity is more responsive and less costly than generating new

My Internship At The Superdome
Over the first month of my new internship, I had the opportunity to work on new projects and experience many new things. For instance, my
supervisor gave me the responsibility of inventing a new program for the Superdome. When the idea was presented and approved, I then was in
charge of creating the marketing campaign. The new program was to introduce the idea of having a company picnic or company outing at the
Superdome to large corporations. They would be able to rent out the entire Dome, 80,000 square feet of field space, as well as a party room and
outdoor fields to use for their employees and employees' families. My first mission was to create a flyer for which I could advertise the new program

For example, yesterday was the start of our Summer camps. Children have the option of paying for lunch in the morning, $5 a day, or $20 for the
week on Mondays. I was writing the names down, indicating whether they paid for the day or the week. Today, Tuesday, I did the same thing,
however, I noticed it was difficult to find the names of the children who paid for the week because it was not alphabetized. I also found it difficult
to stay organized with people who were paying for the rest of the week, for just that day, or who were checking in for their stamp. Therefore, when
all the commotion cleared from the lobby, I sat down and figured out a new system to implement tomorrow, for a smoother, easier way of lunch

different schedules. Therefore, it is difficult to know who is coming in for what event, and it is even more difficult to figure out who is coming in, if
they are not already in, when the time comes. My plan is to coordinate a system of staffing to distribute the most effective and organized way of
communication and efficiency. This way, all of the employees can know who and when someone is

This would be included in 20X8, as stated by management and only effect that time, which may be irrelevant for 20X7. In this case, WHCL would
make this a transfer of gain or loss to the lessee or purchasee, thus allowing WHCL to record revenues, ultimately, lowering its ratios, thus, reducing the
chances for a penalty to occur. But, if the initial date and end date are long–term, this lease, called a finance lease, would not suffice unless payment
was guaranteed. Lastly, management spoke about it covering maintenance at no cost until the date of purchase, this is fine with WHCL as they can
accurately determine their needed expenses for this agreement, but should not take this issue lightly, as it make cause this company to become an
ongoing concern.
Conclusion/Results of Investigation
In the end, WHCL needs to have better standards in place, they may not meet the requirements set out for them in the loan, and may be penalized if
such thing occurs. In the case that they do violate the terms, the loan may be demanded back. WHCL then may also not receive any funding from
others, due to the fact that they may be an issue for others, with regards to repayment and other requirement

Ethical issues and decision
As a project manager, the most important rule I have to obey is to be honest.
Obviously, I will not go with the dishonest suggestion provided by my team member. If we send a 'demo version' to the client, I strongly believe that
the hospital will apply the prognostic system to their patients even after our warnings. Basically, I need to consider our company's reputation. If the
'demo system' used by mental health care services and it causes accidents, such as misinput of patients' records, miscalculation of drug dosage. All of
these results will damage our reliability, especially when they happen in hospital, where involve taking life of a human being.
Imaging on of the patients is our relative, I suspect that none of us will apply the system for the 'go alive' schedule, but prefer the high quality to
guarantee the smooth operation which ensures the safety of patients.
I refuse to send the defective version to the mental health care services, not only because of our reputation and ethics towards patients, but also the
responsibility we have to take if some serious results appear. Our company may have to face lawsuit and punished according to the contract. Also, it
may pose threat to my future career.
Generally, the only benefit brought by the 'demo version' is the punctual delivery, while many potential risks accompany with it. Therefore, after
deliberateness, I will not accept the suggestion give by my team member, and consider to use other

Merced: The New Processor for Hewlett-Packard’s...
After analyzing the Merced case, there are several routes the CEO could take regarding the direction of Hewlett–Packard's Enterprise Systems Group
(ESG). Ultimately, one of these solutions needs to be executed to ensure HP remains a leader in the enterprise server space. The problem with HP's
current (RISC–PA) processors is they are approaching the end of their technological relevance s–curve. Newer technology is rapidly gaining traction
within the computing world and HP needs to find a way to participate in this movement.
The transition is presented with several problems, one of which will affect its current client base. The newer chips, named Merced, are a new class of
processor, developed with Intel (IA–64), and this is a problem with regards to software compatibility. If HP abandons their (RISC–PA) platforms many
of the loyal HP customers will be left in the dark. This opens up the door to current competition engulfing the fleeing HP loyalists. This would have a
dramatic affect to HP's revenue and brand loyalty moving forward. One option to mitigate this would be to continue development of the existing
(RISC–PA) platform while investing in the newer (IA–64) Processor. This would allow HP to continue to capitalize on the revenue of its current
customer base while preparing for the ultimate death of the (RISC–PA) based platforms. The downside to this is approach, the amount of resources
required to perform both functions simultaneously could present problems. If there

that functional fitness such as CrossFit and the Alpha program are the fastest growing fitness trends at the moment: if Lifetime Fitness does not get on

He eased onto his elbows, then moved forward until he was sitting up completely, stretching a body that had gone still with resignation. As much as he liked being contrary, playing by his own rules, he knew when not to push someone. He usually ignored that knowledge and pushed and pushed anyway, but he couldn't do it to Cate. Not now. Not when she didn't want him fighting back. He wanted what she wanted, when it came down to it. • 9. The Cloud Of The Sky Joshua Richardson ICTN 3250/1 Mr. John Picard October 20, 2014 From IT Infrastructure to ITaaS What is the cloud? Many say they are those white puffs in the sky. True, but those are not the clouds that are referred to in the Information Technology industry. The cloud that IT professionals speak of is a place that isn't seen but is known to exist. Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud Drive; all different types of "cloud" storage options for securing your music, documents, and other kinds of files. There are many different uses for the cloud in the life of a professional. Box, for example, is mainly designed to share documents and files between users in a more formal business setting. The idea of storing files in places other than the hard drive of a computer or the server in the next room has opened a door for new beginnings and unending possibilities. Many companies have IT departments that are internal to their company. Without these IT departments many companies would have many non working computers, networks, and other office devices that would hinder the business from making money. The current IT infrastructure is mostly maintained and operated in–house by contracted employees that usually have a great knowledge of general electronics and computers. Being that IT is so important to how companies work it is always under scrutiny to continue to develop. With the cloud in mind there has recently been talk about how IT could use the cloud to advance their efforts. Information Technology as a Service (ITaaS) has become a new reality for some companies. The idea is that IT organizations can use the cloud to move away from an Infrastructure platform to a Service model. This ITaaS model promotes IT being setup to be much more effective than it currently is. One concept from this

  • 11. Pet Peeve Research Paper My Pet Peeve Is People With Too Many Pet Peeves Introduction Some people seem to enjoy complaining. The saying "misery loves company" explains a lot. When someone starts to complain, often others like to join in with their stories of woe. I dought we ever, in the entire history of mankind have as many complainers as we do today, in the 21st century. No one becomes newsworthy for looking on the bright side of things. We feel it our daily mission to voice our pet peeves in a tweet or a facebook post. A pet peeve is something someone can never resist complaining about. As you may know from the title, my pet peeve is people that have to many pet peeves and voice them constantly. I feel this can hurt their family life, work life... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Grumbling about your family may rub off on others in the family, hurt each other unnecessarily or promote self pitty; complaining at work brings down the overall mood and does not promote teamwork. Voicing every pet peeve to your friends can make them feel uneasy around you as they wonder what they do to piss you off like everyone else because bad complainers spread negatively. Maybe it's best with your family to not sweat the mildly annoying pet peeves. What children would want to commit their lives to a church that their parents always complain about. And, will a child that consently hears murmuring from their parents about their grandparents learn to respect their elders as they should? It only makes sense that grumbling parents raise grumbling kids, and grumbling kids turn into grumbling adults. Constantly voicing pet peeves and complaints at your job can cause problems and shape how people perceive you. A general atmosphere of dissatisfaction grows when there is complaining in the work place. If you come across as intolerant, you convey to others that you're a slow adapter and picky. A seasoned complainer rarely takes personal ownership, which only highlights the powerlessness that got them complaining in the first place so, chill out! No one is perfect and you are annoying ... Confidential And Proprietary Information Case Study In 2012, Hanjuan Jin attempted to leave the country with 30,000 dollars in cash as well as some documents from Motorola that were clearly labeled "confidential and proprietary information". Not only did Jin have information about Motorola's trade secrets, she also had documents from the Chinese military, which could lead some people to believe that she was doing this for the Chinese government, especially because she had a one way ticket to China. Soon after this took place she was arrested and then sentenced to 4 years in prison for stealing trade secrets which involved Motorola telecommunication. • 14. Platinum Box Case Study Essay Executive Summary The new business venture to produce quality boxes for the U.S market has created a requirement for Platinum Box to source five new presses. The three bids to supply these presses were from Merakuri, Jabaking and Pnutype. Each bid had its attributes over the other. Finding a way to fairly evaluate each bid was needed. A Weighted Evaluation System was chosen. Four factors were used to evaluate the bids. They are: Performance & Quality, Service, Price (total cost of purchase determines the pricing factor) and Financing. By applying a value to each, a better evaluation of the bids can be made. Performance & Quality was perceived to be of utmost importance to the point where the success of the project depended on it.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The selection process is further complicated by Platinum Box plan to expand to 500,000 boxes per year in three years requiring more presses so the desire to form a relationship with a quality supplier is of importance. Because not all the four factors Performance, Service, Price and Finance have the same importance a value or weight has been assigned. • 15. Personal Narrative : My Life Of River Rafting My life flashed before my eyes right before I was about to get crushed by a rock 10 feet taller than I was. This story will tell the time I went white river rafting and almost died. Being on vacation doesn't always mean everything is perfect. While I was rafting, the whole experience took a turn for the worst. I was suddenly gasping for air as the malicious currents dragged me down wanting to trap me in their home forever. My body weak and exhausted from being toyed around with by the water, I fell into an unconscious state. I started to remember the car ride to my rafting destination. Upon arriving, I was given my equipment and a set of instruction to follow. My sister, her friend and I were paired up with our tour guide and headed on with our three hour journey across the Pacuare River. Little did I know that my life was close to being put to an end. The rest is history, I was just happy to make it out alive. River Rafting is known to be an extreme adventure activity. The experience takes about three hours total. With usually a group of four, the people are placed in a squared yellow raft with each person holding a paddle board. Depending on which river that is chosen to raft, there are five levels. • 16. The Reflection Of A Interview With An Interviewer In the roughly eleven–minute interview with my client, Alex, we discussed her need for case management services. She established her concerns that she wanted to address with me, as well as her current status in education, living arrangements, social supports, along with her history in the same areas. I thought that it would take too long, and that I wouldn't be able to have a conversation with the client, and instead I would just be asking questions one by one. As the interview proceeded, and I focused on using open and closed questions, I realized that the session would go quite smoothly. Alex was really willing to discuss her medical and psychological background, and made it clear that why she was meeting with a case manager. I found it easy to initiate the session, and was able to ease into discussion about her concerns and objectives. My goals for the session were to introduce myself to the client, understand the client's concerns, learn her background and current situation for several areas relevant to her life and her concerns, such as medical, family, legal, educational, and vocational. In order to gain more deep understanding and knowledge about BigChange's operation and future plan, the researcher conducted an in depth interview with the founder of the company who is also the current CEO. Hence, this part of the chapter 4 will display five main topics of the research collected from the interview as well as providing some direct quotes of the CEO. 4.4.1.Company Overview It is essential for the researcher to gain insights into the operation and development of BigChange. The CEO responded with meticulous answers about current situation and growth strategies. To illustrate, the CEO believes his company is in the early phase of growth. Though they have just offered their services and products for 2 years, their performances in the market are remarkable with the annual revenue of ₤2 million. Moreover, he estimates the market share that the company has gained after two years working is from 0.5% to 1% and he confirms that the UK telematics is one of the biggest markets in Europe. Thus it seems to take BigChange more time and efforts to achieve its ambition as a market leader. When asking about the current strategy of BigChange, the CEO demonstrated that they are providing services and products to specified industries in the UK by creating different industry sites. Then they introduce sites and services to a customer coming from those industries, it will be timesaving and easy to offer and customise the sites. • 19. Reflection On Personal Conflict Oxford defines Conflict as "a serious disagreement or argument, typically a protracted one." The most recent conflict I had encountered was one that is related to my work. I currently work at an IT company in Israel as an Office Manager. I have been working here for about two and a half years and am pretty content with the job as I know all the loops and holes of the daily tasks that need to be done. Recently, I have received an offer from another IT company, that would like to meet with me and offer me a job at their company. I went to an interview with this other company and a day later they told me that they were interested and would like to continue the hiring process with me. That's when my personal conflict started. I had been working in a place that I liked not for over two years, with nice conditions and friendly co–workers. On the other hand, this other job is offering me a higher salary than what I am making now, while my current job place has never offered to give me a raise of any kind although I have been in situations in the company where I had to take on additional tasks that were originally outside of my job description. I will use the Ladder of Inference to try and understand my conflict and hopefully be able to decide where it would be better for me to be in terms of a job place. The ladder consists of seven steps: Reality and Facts, Selected Reality, Interpreted Reality, Assumptions, Conclusions, Beliefs, Actions. Starting from Reality and Facts – by ... To gather information about Tim's current developmental and mental position I would use my active listening skills. By utilizing these skills, I would be paying attention and taking note of things like his body language towards me and his difficulty in keeping eye contact. Once Tim feels a little bit more comfortable in this situation asking open ended questions could help gain an understanding of where he feels he is regarding his mental state and finding out all possible details that I can. Is this true or not? A compelling argument will be made by this Author to show that in his perception that children are growing up too fast. My own experiences having raised three children, two girls and a boy have shown that access by them to technology such as the computer, other technological devices and access to the internet and television programming have contributed to aspects of their own self development which were not available to their predecessors and in my own considered judgment, based on these developments allow for a level of maturity beyond their young ages. Given the observations on growing p too fast, as discussed above and inclusive of research and findings by Hymowitz (1998) which articulated on trends observed n the society in which his daughter grew up, supporting discussions by the Sunday Sun ( 2011); Hughes (2009); Wilson ( 2008) and my own experiences in observing the phenomena of children maturing at an earlier age than their predecessors, I submit and support the thesis statement that children are growing up much faster currently than their predecessors based on the evidence provided in the discussion which support such conclusions. • 23. How Art Has A Strong Influence On Finding A Person 's... In our current technological era, the beauty of art and literature has been forgotten despite its heavy importance in the past. For my Rhetoric–In–Practice project, I wanted to create a product that corresponds with the message of Emily St. John Mandel's Station Eleven. I created a website that highlights the message of the novel that art has a strong influence in finding a person's identity. This website is intended to be accessed by a technological literate audience of all ages since this type of audience tends to be the ones who prefer technology over art and literature. The purpose of this website is to introduce Station Eleven, and make my audience realize that the use of art to reflect and express themselves is important for their physical and emotional health. The use of Station Eleven with this project was crucial due to the fact that the novel contains characters, which I used on the website, that are relatable to many types of audiences. The thing that fueled me to create this project was research and personal experience. Being in a big family I notice that lack of people in my family who have creative influence with their lives being surrounded by technology. It is hard to see my younger cousins who value their iPads more than their books. Through research, I found statistics showing that the amount of people of own technology through the years. Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Pontiac Bandit Anton's Review of Brooklyn Nine–Nine "The Pontiac Bandit" Brooklyn Nine–Nine is a successful comedy show with extremely high ratings in its genre winning numerous awards such as the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series (Comedy) in 2014. Does the show live up to the hype that surrounds it? Are its ratings accurate? This essay will spotlight the show's characters, discuss its negative aspects, and highlight the show's drawing points to determine whether Brooklyn Nine–Nine is deserving of its praise and glory. What makes Brooklyn Nine–Nine appealing to many viewers, are undoubtedly the characters and their personalities. From an enthusiastic and somewhat socially awkward detective Boyle, to the invariably cold and serious captain Holt, Brooklyn Nine–Nine manages to create a very pleasant atmosphere of radically different people who are forced to collaboratively work together to solve interesting and oftentimes intriguing mysteries. My favourite character of the bunch was detective Charles Boyle. Not only did the actor playing Boyle make the character as realistic and believable as possible, but I felt as if Charles was the main source of comedy throughout "The Pontiac Bandit". I... These are current ratio and debt to equity ratio. Therefore, $750,000 line of credit will not be proved by the bank. Even though, since these covenants are required for lower MSC's borrowing rate by 1.5%, the bank will raise this rate again. MSC will spend more on interest costs. MSC can only issue shares to finance the expansion plan. Actually, using line of credit is not a good choice. Current ratio = currentasset/current liability = 11,977/8462=1.42. If adding $750,000 to current liability, the new ratio will be 11,977/ (8,462+750) = 1.3. It is far from the bank's requirement. However, if MSC finance the expansion by issuing shares, MSC can at least meet two covenants: debt to equity ratio and working capital of sales which meets requirement already. Currently, debt to equity = total liability/shareholders equity = 16,027/8,447 = 2.22%. But if adding $3,750,000 to equity, the new ratio will be 16,027 / (8,447+ 3,750) = 1.54 which meets bank's requirement. If we send a 'demo version' to the client, I strongly believe that the hospital will apply the prognostic system to their patients even after our warnings. Basically, I need to consider our company's reputation. If the 'demo system' used by mental health care services and it causes accidents, such as misinput of patients' records, miscalculation of drug dosage. All of these results will damage our reliability, especially when they happen in hospital, where involve taking life of a human being. Imaging on of the patients is our relative, I suspect that none of us will apply the system for the 'go alive' schedule, but prefer the high quality to guarantee the smooth operation which ensures the safety of patients. I refuse to send the defective version to the mental health care services, not only because of our reputation and ethics towards patients, but also the responsibility we have to take if some serious results appear. Our company may have to face lawsuit and punished according to the contract. Also, it may pose threat to my future career. Generally, the only benefit brought by the 'demo version' is the punctual delivery, while many potential risks accompany with it. • 41. Merced: The New Processor for Hewlett-Packard’s... After analyzing the Merced case, there are several routes the CEO could take regarding the direction of Hewlett–Packard's Enterprise Systems Group (ESG). Ultimately, one of these solutions needs to be executed to ensure HP remains a leader in the enterprise server space. The problem with HP's current (RISC–PA) processors is they are approaching the end of their technological relevance s–curve. Newer technology is rapidly gaining traction within the computing world and HP needs to find a way to participate in this movement. The transition is presented with several problems, one of which will affect its current client base. The newer chips, named Merced, are a new class of processor, developed with Intel (IA–64), and this is a problem with regards to software compatibility. If HP abandons their (RISC–PA) platforms many of the loyal HP customers will be left in the dark. This opens up the door to current competition engulfing the fleeing HP loyalists. This would have a dramatic affect to HP's revenue and brand loyalty moving forward. One option to mitigate this would be to continue development of the existing (RISC–PA) platform while investing in the newer (IA–64) Processor. This would allow HP to continue to capitalize on the revenue of its current customer base while preparing for the ultimate death of the (RISC–PA) based platforms. The downside to this is approach, the amount of resources required to perform both functions simultaneously could present problems. If there ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 44. Alpha Program Research Paper The Revamping of the Alpha Program As a happy and loyal member of Lifetime Fitness, I want what is best for the club and its future in Centennial, Denver. For the most part, Lifetime Fitness has a section for almost every class it has. For yoga, they have a yoga studio. For a cycle class, they have the cycle studio. But for the Alpha program, they do not have a section. The Alpha program is a functional, multi joint movement based workout that requires pull up bars, barbells, rings, ropes, and plenty of room to do these activities. By moving the Alpha program to the last two racquet ball courts Lifetime Fitness has everything to gain. It will take the current problems with the program and terminate all of them. It will give the right amount space and the proper equipment for the members and the coaches to excel. Plus, I have seen this work first hand in Japan.
