2. I might be using this picture on my DPS as the
model is showing some attitude and you can
tell that the character is not in a good mood.
The mise en scene used for this picture is also
good because I think that it goes well with the
hip hop genre. If I was t use this picture I
would crop the picture of the model out
including the props and make the background
white which will make the models picture
stand out more. The lighting I used on this
picture is also good because the most light is
on one side as you can see I used a photo
studio and I used the lightings my self to make
sure the light was on one side on purpose. The
models facial expressions show that he doesn’t
care about who is looking at him and he is the
boss which related to the attitude of an hip
hop artist because they are always moody and
they don’t care if you care about them or not.
3. This picture could also be used for the DPS because
it is similar to the pic before but I think that the
facial expressions can be improved and this one does
not relate to the hip hop genre. His body language
doesn’t relate to the genre because he looks like he
is just sitting down as if he was told to whereas is
the pic before it looks like if he was supposed to be
doing that and he is doing it on purpose. This picture
would be used nicely on a DPS but when I will be
cropping it out I will have difficulties' because I will
have to include the floor which I don’t want to do.
The bat is also fully included which I don’t really
want because I want him to just lean on the bat and
I don’t really want the audience to see the bat. The
chain that is wrapped around is also not as I
expected it to be because you cant really see it
because of the lighting .
4. This picture could also be used on the
DPS as it’s a picture that is kind of as I
wanted it to be The lighting on this
picture is also too much and isn’t really
much reflective to the hip hop genre. The
models body position is also not in the
position I wanted to be in but I could use
this because I wouldn’t have to work
much on this when I am actually
constructing my DPS however he is not
leaning on the bat as I wanted it to be.
The facial expression of the model in this
could be ok to use as it kind of shows a
attitude and looks as if he is smirking
which shows suggest his arrogance to the
audience although his body language does
not because he is positioned in a straight
way which shows that he doesn’t want to
correlate the audience.
