CAREERS
The new Corporate Careers Site was developed with the goal of providing visitors with accurate and
useful information about the firm and motivating prospective candidates to register in the firm’s new
recruitment database. The website showcases the range of professional opportunities at the firm, as
well as its history, culture and work environment. Employees from around the world participated
in video interviews that are now posted on the site to communicate the firm’s expertise and global
presence.
The site also illustrates AllianceBernstein’s new commitment to strengthening its online identity and
design. As the first public site to launch under the new branding effort, Careers sets the stage for a
new model of web development and design for AllianceBernstein globally.

UK TAP 2008
The UK-based Technology Associate Programme (TAP) was in need of a college recruiting site to
educate potential candidates about an exciting opportunity to join a two-year IT graduate train-
ing program with AllianceBernstein. Coming just after the launch of AllianceBernstein Careers, the
opportunity to develop the new UKTAP website lent itself easily to carrying over AB’s new modern
online design. The result? An informative, brand consistent partner site for UK recruiting.

The Bernstein Research web site is a searchable repository for all research available to sell-side clients.
It distributes Morning calls, Weekly notes, White papers and White books, Black books, and high-
lighted/featured research. The new website applies a minimalistic “less is more” approach to both its
site architecture and visual form. The result is easier, more intuitive access to research pieces, better
ways of highlighting featured Black books, and stronger alignment between event information and
materials designed for the event.

The rebranding of the AllianceBernstein CollegeBoundFund effectively improves on the overall ad-
visor and client experience with the product. The new site design engages consumers with a strong
emotional element by focusing on children engaged in learning. Through simple navigation, content
highlights and structure, the site is organized to explain to Rhode Island residents the benefits of the
CollegeBoundFund in a clear, concise manner, as well as provide much needed support and important
information on the offices of the State Treasurer and the Rhode Island Higher Education Assistance
Authority.

THE LOOP
Completely redesigned and reorganized, our new corporate intranet site - the Loop - sets the stage for
all online internal communications moving forward. With its clean modern design, the Loop makes
locating resources and finding valuable company/staff information easier through improvements such
as its clearer navigational structure, robust search functionality, and the new “At Work” menu, which
on rollover allows users to view and navigate our entire online community of sites. Finally, the soul of
the Loop - the message board - encourages interaction within the firm, promoting a corporate culture
based on the exchange of ideas and information.

The Travel intranet site takes the established template design of the Loop and applies a more consum-
er-friendly approach to its editorial area. Through the use of simple iconography and a fresh color
palette, employees can easily find important policy information, tools to book their trips, and a new
feature called the “New Traveler Check List,” which provides new travelers with all of the informa-
tion (forms, tools, etc.) they need to book their first business trip as an AllianceBernstein employee.

Each year, AllianceBernstein Investments rewards its highest performing salespeople around the world
with an honorary distinction called the Century Club. The centerpiece of this award is an annual
group getaway to exotic and entertaining locales including Jamaica, Kauai, New York City and this
year - Punta Mita, Mexico. The site was developed to build anticipation for the trip through informa-
tion and photos about the location’s luxury amenities, culture and history. The sophisticated design
and animation of the site underscores the quality and prestige of the event, increasing the Century

Bernstein’s Private Client web tour is a narrated, user-controlled animation that provides both a big

SMARTBLEND IRA WIZARD
In conjunction with the release of AB’s new SmartBlend IRA product, the online Wizard was devel-
oped to allow advisors the option to complete the account application online as an alternative to the
traditional (and often cumbersome) paper-based process. To open an account, advisors can fill out
the information online and send the printed application to AB. A subsequent release scheduled for
May 2008 will enable the electronic transmission of the application to our operations group in San

An educational program like IPI deserves a website as inspiring and impactful as its events. The vision
for the IPI website extends the lessons of building business through knowledge and sharing knowl-
edge from the event to online. Through its innovative user-interface, which includes video, an interac-
tive menu of IPI’s educational offerings, plus an interactive global calendar of events, the proposed
online presence seamlessly integrates materials and information into a site that engages attendees long
after the event is over.

IPI MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATION
IPI is an AllianceBernstein educational program that shares best practices and investment knowledge
with international advisors, distributors, clients (end-users) globally. The new IPI presentation builds
on that awareness to create a truly global personality unique to IPI. It presents the IPI program as an
educational resource to our advisor clients that is grounded in world-class research and real-world
knowledge of local markets around the world. Actual interviews of IPI attendees, with translations
of the voiceover and interview content into Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese and other languages from
key markets will be integrated into the presentation. This would effectively communicate the impact
of IPI on global distributors.
These presentations are unique in the industry as they do not push product. Powered by a new cre-
ative direction, they would further distinguish IPI as a forum developed to share knowledge. Keynote
presentation software in combination with high-end design and animation would enrich the overall
experience of the events, engage attendees and generate excitement about what can be learned.

ALLIANCEBERNSTEIN CORPORATE WEBSITE
In readying ourselves to take on the corporate umbrella site - AllianceBernstein.com, the Client Com-
munications online creative team undertook an exploratory exercise in tackling the project from
several different angles. From a variety of messaging strategies and content structures, to dramatic
variations of design and site architecture, inhibitions were thrown aside at this early stage to truly
show that within the sophistication of our brand, anything is possible.
