However, impoverished countries lack resources to educate all citizens. 2. Education proven effective in ending poverty
 Organizations and humanitarian leaders around the
world have firmly stated that education is the most
effective measure in the fight to end the cycle of
intergenerational poverty. While impoverished countries
may desire the ability to educate all their citizens, a
critical lack of resources and educational funding may
make this dream nearly impossible to achieve. However,
with limited access to educational resources, the citizens
of these countries struggle to meet basic needs and
have little to contribute to national resources, which
perpetuates the cycle.

3. Assistance Needed to Provide Education
 This is where world citizens, particularly those in
countries with greater opportunities, can assist. Entities
such as the United Nations’ End Poverty 2015 campaign,
the Education for All Campaign, and the Desk and Chair
Foundation pool the generous contributions of donors
and, in the case of the United Nations, participating
donor nations to open schools and provide learning
materials to countless students across the world. While
many families still depend upon the labor of children to
afford food and other essentials, such organizations
supplement these needs as possible in order to allow
students the freedom to attend classes.
