A BEDSIDE TABLE.

7. 4.CABANA: A ROOM NEAR THE SWIMMING POOL AND AWAY THE
MAIN HOTEL THE BUILDING.

8. 5.PENT HOUSE SUITE :A SUPER DELUXE SUITE SITUATED
ON THE TOPMOST FLOOR OF THE HOTEL. USUALLY IT HAS A
TERRACE GARDEN OR A PATIO ATTACHED
TO IT.

9. 6.INTER-CONNECTING ROOMS :TWO ROOM WHICH
SHARES A COMMON DOOR, MOSTLY USED BY FAMILIES.

10. 7.DUPLEX SUITE : A DELUXE SUITE SPREAD OVER TWO
FLOORS WITH AN INTERNAL CONNECTING STAIRWAY.

11. 8.QUAD ROOM : A ROOM ASSIGNED TO FOUR PEOPLE,
IT MAY HAVE TWO OR MORE BEDS.

12. 9.STUDIO SUITE : A ROOM WITH A STUDIO BED- A
COUCH THAT CAN BE CONVERTED INTO BED.

13. 10.MASTER SUITE : A PARLOUR OR A LIVING ROOM
CONNECTED TO ONE OR MORE BEDROOMS.

14. PUBLIC AREAS
 Areas where every guest have access like common areas.
 This section of housekeeping maintains clean public areas
like lobbies, swimming pool, lounges, restaurants etc.

15. CONTROL DESK
 The housekeeping control desk is the central hub or the nerve
center of the housekeeping department. It is responsible continuous
coordination with the front office regarding departure room.

16. LAUNDRY
 The laundry ensures that staff uniforms are laundered and sent to
the uniform room on a daily basis.
 The laundry also ensures that they provide the linen room with clean
bed and bath linen for the guest rooms and clean table linen for the
food and beverage outlets.
 This section also does guest laundry and charges for it, thereby
earning revenue for the hotel.

17. HORTICULTURE
 Horticulture is the science and art of
growing plants.
 The importance of horticulture in
improving the productivity of land,
generating employment, improving
economic conditions, providing
nutritional security to the people, is
now widely acknowledged.

18. LENIN ROOM
 Guest rooms contribute to more than 50% of the total hotel sales
and more than 60%-70% of net profit . in order to earn this, clean
linen need to provided in the guest room daily or the guest will
check-out and promote the hotel negatively.

19. UNIFORM ROOM
 The uniform section is responsible for providing every staff member
with well-tailored and perfectly fitting uniforms; thus making them
smart looking brand ambassadors.
 The uniform room also provides the staff daily with well laundered
uniforms and it co-ordinates with the laundry for this purpose.
