One of the industries in which berkemban tourism sector by increasing tourism

from the increasing number of service providers hotel, the promotion of products and

Do you still remember the Meat Tower review at Karnivor Restaurant in Bandung? Still in
the same city, this time Nona Icip will show you another must-visit place that you need to
include in your culinary list, especially to those of you who love burger! In Karnivor, you get
Meat Tower or a high stack burger into a towering height, in Tos Raos Coffee Shop, there’s
also a big burger that you can enjoy with 6-8 people, what? Let’s read and enjoy Nona Icip’s
experience!
To enjoy this 25 cm diameter size burger, you can directly go to Aston Braga Hotel on Braga
99-101, Bandung. The coffee shop, owned by the hotel and more resemble to a restaurant
than a coffe shop, looked very ‘Sunda’. Especially because of the naming. In Sundanese,
‘Tos’ means already and ‘Raos’ means good. But, instead of expecting Sundanese food, they
offer Indonesian and Western style kind of food.
On the first page of the menu book, you can find some choices that are Tos Raos Coffee
Shop’s best-selling items, such as Nasi Tutug Oncom, Sate Campur Pelangi, and some other
Indonesian traditional cuisines. However, keeping in mind that the purpose of coming was to
try out their giant burger, so Nona decided to have the burger instead. The rest can wait for
the next visit.
As the entrée, Nona had Chef's Salad that consisted of fresh lettuce, with pastrami, chicken,
cheese, and Thousand Island or Italian dressing sauce. That time, Nona chose the Thousand
Island sauce.
8
Chef’s Salad looked very pretty. The meat was cut into a rectangle shape, and was
lined up to cover the lettuce, so did the chicken and cheese. Then, the tomatoes are cut into a
quarter. The chicken wasn’t cooked well-done, so you could still feel the chicken aroma.
When first bit it, Nona mistakenly thought the chicken as fish, because the taste almost felt
like fish with rough texture and light seasoning. Then there was also pastrami that was half-
cooked. It tasted chewy like raw meatball, so did the aroma smell like one. The veggies were
consisted of fresh lettuce and tomatoes. For the sauce itself, the thousand island dressing was
a bit too salty to Nona’s liking. If she could remember well, usually thousand island dressing
has a more sweet and sour taste. Overall, for this menu, Nona thought that the whole mix and
match was perfect. You have the sweetness coming from the chicken, then some saltiness
from the cheese and thousand island dressing. So, when you mix all of them up, they all
belneded together well, no dominant taste, really really tasty. With IDR 50 thousands, Nona
really did think this menu was worth every penny of it.
Now, the coffee shop apparently also offered some dishes that you can’t get
elsewhere, for this reason Nona ordered Giant Sandwich as the her second menu. The
sandwich was served in a plate of 25-30 cm diameter, and the sandwich somehow managed
to take over half of the plate. The bread used crispy garlic bread. Nona though that the bread
was great, the pepper was string and felt warm when you bite it. The sandwich was consisted
of cheese, pepperoni, chicken smeared with olive oil, lettuce, and tomatoes. The most
dominant taste was salty coming from the cheese, then afterward you could also atste some
spiciness. As a whole, the sandwich was rather light, it didn’t make you feel overwhelmed
with the taste, and it was probably enough for 2-3 people. The huge sandwich cost IDR
48668 (tax not included).
OK, now it’s time to have the most anticipated menu, the Goliath Burger! Once the
dish got to Nona’s table, Nona could see how big the size was! The burger of 25 cm in
diameter was cut into eight equal slices, and also served with fries (the same like sandwich
serving). The fries was pretty regular. It had enough saltiness and it was deep-fried perfectly,
a perfect match for burger and sandwich.
9
Back to the burger, it has a sesame bun that tasted good, it wasn’t tough and tend to be
soft. The burger meat wasn’t tough either, it was crisp on the outside, but still retained some
moistness on the inside. Inside the burger there was also a big size egg. It was one of the first
thing that caught Nona’s attention, because it had a perfect whole and round fried egg. In
addition, inside the burger there was some pineapples, onions, and carrots that was made into
Japanese salad (slice into smallest piece and then smeared with some mayonnaise and
lettuce). Overall, the burger also tasted light, unlike other burgers that are mostly use strong
seasoning and tasted spicy. For the Goliath Burger, the seasoning was perfect, it tasted
superb, and turned out it wasn’t that expensive. It was only IDR 67850 (or roughly IDR 70
thousands with tax). It could be an alternative of a birthday cake, haha, a perfect cake for a
burger lover!
And its be icon of hotel braga it’s Braga Dog
Now, what are you waiting for? Make some room in your belly, then straight away go to
Aston Braga.

b. Carios Lounge
Carios means “story” or “chat” and in some ways, it also means “telling
the story”. This phrase is very suitable for the lobby lounge, because it represents
the character of the outlet, which is cozy and perfect for chatting with friends and
colleagues. Carios has a warm and sociable surrounding, with a Jazzy touch.
Carios is located at the lobby area and is open daily from 8 am to 11 pm. Semi-
separated from the non smoking lobby area, Carios Lobby Lounge is a smoking
area with bar and wine corner. It is an ultimate spot for having long drinks,
cocktails, mocktails, wine and light meals. It has a warm atmosphere and can cater

  • 9. Do you still remember the Meat Tower review at Karnivor Restaurant in Bandung? Still in the same city, this time Nona Icip will show you another must-visit place that you need to include in your culinary list, especially to those of you who love burger! In Karnivor, you get Meat Tower or a high stack burger into a towering height, in Tos Raos Coffee Shop, there’s also a big burger that you can enjoy with 6-8 people, what? Let’s read and enjoy Nona Icip’s experience! To enjoy this 25 cm diameter size burger, you can directly go to Aston Braga Hotel on Braga 99-101, Bandung. The coffee shop, owned by the hotel and more resemble to a restaurant than a coffe shop, looked very ‘Sunda’. Especially because of the naming. In Sundanese, ‘Tos’ means already and ‘Raos’ means good. But, instead of expecting Sundanese food, they offer Indonesian and Western style kind of food. On the first page of the menu book, you can find some choices that are Tos Raos Coffee Shop’s best-selling items, such as Nasi Tutug Oncom, Sate Campur Pelangi, and some other Indonesian traditional cuisines. However, keeping in mind that the purpose of coming was to try out their giant burger, so Nona decided to have the burger instead. The rest can wait for the next visit. As the entrée, Nona had Chef's Salad that consisted of fresh lettuce, with pastrami, chicken, cheese, and Thousand Island or Italian dressing sauce. That time, Nona chose the Thousand Island sauce. 8
  • 10. Chef’s Salad looked very pretty. The meat was cut into a rectangle shape, and was lined up to cover the lettuce, so did the chicken and cheese. Then, the tomatoes are cut into a quarter. The chicken wasn’t cooked well-done, so you could still feel the chicken aroma. When first bit it, Nona mistakenly thought the chicken as fish, because the taste almost felt like fish with rough texture and light seasoning. Then there was also pastrami that was half- cooked. It tasted chewy like raw meatball, so did the aroma smell like one. The veggies were consisted of fresh lettuce and tomatoes. For the sauce itself, the thousand island dressing was a bit too salty to Nona’s liking. If she could remember well, usually thousand island dressing has a more sweet and sour taste. Overall, for this menu, Nona thought that the whole mix and match was perfect. You have the sweetness coming from the chicken, then some saltiness from the cheese and thousand island dressing. So, when you mix all of them up, they all belneded together well, no dominant taste, really really tasty. With IDR 50 thousands, Nona really did think this menu was worth every penny of it. Now, the coffee shop apparently also offered some dishes that you can’t get elsewhere, for this reason Nona ordered Giant Sandwich as the her second menu. The sandwich was served in a plate of 25-30 cm diameter, and the sandwich somehow managed to take over half of the plate. The bread used crispy garlic bread. Nona though that the bread was great, the pepper was string and felt warm when you bite it. The sandwich was consisted of cheese, pepperoni, chicken smeared with olive oil, lettuce, and tomatoes. The most dominant taste was salty coming from the cheese, then afterward you could also atste some spiciness. As a whole, the sandwich was rather light, it didn’t make you feel overwhelmed with the taste, and it was probably enough for 2-3 people. The huge sandwich cost IDR 48668 (tax not included). OK, now it’s time to have the most anticipated menu, the Goliath Burger! Once the dish got to Nona’s table, Nona could see how big the size was! The burger of 25 cm in diameter was cut into eight equal slices, and also served with fries (the same like sandwich serving). The fries was pretty regular. It had enough saltiness and it was deep-fried perfectly, a perfect match for burger and sandwich. 9
  • 11. Back to the burger, it has a sesame bun that tasted good, it wasn’t tough and tend to be soft. The burger meat wasn’t tough either, it was crisp on the outside, but still retained some moistness on the inside. Inside the burger there was also a big size egg. It was one of the first thing that caught Nona’s attention, because it had a perfect whole and round fried egg. In addition, inside the burger there was some pineapples, onions, and carrots that was made into Japanese salad (slice into smallest piece and then smeared with some mayonnaise and lettuce). Overall, the burger also tasted light, unlike other burgers that are mostly use strong seasoning and tasted spicy. For the Goliath Burger, the seasoning was perfect, it tasted superb, and turned out it wasn’t that expensive. It was only IDR 67850 (or roughly IDR 70 thousands with tax). It could be an alternative of a birthday cake, haha, a perfect cake for a burger lover! And its be icon of hotel braga it’s Braga Dog Now, what are you waiting for? Make some room in your belly, then straight away go to Aston Braga. 10
