I did not quite understand it from the start and was slow to start off with and needed some help
from staff. I used the correct methods and techniques and was very skilful and professional using
things such as Illustrator and Photoshop. Areas for improvement are understanding the work
needing to be done and managing my time well and not falling behind in the tasks and leaving
everything to the last minute.
My research was very effective finding out about the storyline to Romeo and Juliet with watching
the film and researching on the internet to find out about it whilst also using the internet to find out
about the Hip Hop Shakespeare Company through looking at their website and finding out what is
there job.
My research was very good using methods such as searching the internet and watching videos to
find out different things about Hip Hop Shakespeare Company and the storyline to Romeo and Juliet.
I could of improved on my planning by organising my time well and getting certain tasks done in the
time they needed to be done therefore I was also very poor at organising my time management and
also do better tracking my progress so that I know where I am up to. My creative ability was good as
I thought about what modern theme I wanted and implanted it into my work.
My artwork compared similar to my intentions with wanting to go with a rivalry theme through the
two football teams Manchester United and Manchester City and showing this in parts of my work. It
does work for my intended audience of teenagers and anyone interested in modern Hip Hop also I
am very pleased with my style I used and the way I created it using the techniques Illustrator and
Photoshop. It is set and ready to print and even though I could of done much better I am pleased
with the work I produced.
