Editor's Notes
I enjoy and do well in math intensive courses which is why I have chosen to list these above courses. I have completed all of these courses with a B or better, besides Investments which I am currently enrolled in.
Working with these children, some of whom are disadvantaged, helped open my eyes. I grew up with a mother and father who were there for me all the time and many of these children do not have that.
This was my first experience working with answering phones and really having to deal with people. I learned several people skills that will use for my career.
I worked facilitating the advertisement: Putting signs together, making calls to people regarding voting decisions, cutting articles. First time I had seen the interworking's of an campaign (gave me the knowledge that I don’t ever want to be in politics).
My job was not as glamorous as Mr. Hasselhoffs. I had to do chemical work and work in extreme heat (often around 110 degrees).
I helped in deciding which projects we would support, also came up with several idea’s about philanthropic events. Including a concert we are planning to put on in spring of 2012
Through sports I feel as though people develop several skill necessary for the business world: competition, determination, leadership, and how to deal with pressure. I have played almost every sport throughout my lifetime and believe I am much better off for doing so.
