4. Challenges
Arrive on time Preparation/Materials
VIP is held 30 min. prior to service.
Please read the curriculum before you arrive
15 minutes (for vision, info, and prayer)
Materials will be sorted by grade teams and
+15 minutes(set up/greet your kids) placed in container (only use your service’s
item! Additional materials will be on the
Arriving on time makes all the back counter in the resource room)m
difference!
5. Solution
•Materials located inside Team Bins (return bins to designated areas after service)
•Larger Materials will be labeled and placed on back counter
•If you run out of materials, DO NOT use the next service’s materials, additional copies
will be located on back counter
7. Identity
Wear Your Shirts!!!
This is necessary in helping the kids identify their leader
and critical for our 1st time families in identifying you!
Return worn shirts to basket to be washed
8. Intro
Intro Game Bins will be refreshed and rotated weekly!
Please keep in mind that the bins are shared between services
Use the 5 min. countdown to Large Group to instruct your team
to clean up and reset games inside the bins

•Scrap paper
•Extra Review Game (to fill the time, if needed)
Neatly return items back to the cart if used please!

Grab a backpack and take to your group,
you’ll need it!
•Bible

•Crayons, color pencils or markers
•Glue sticks
•Pens, pencils
•Sharpie
•Scissors
•Small stapler, staples
•Tape
Neatly Return items to backpack, zip it, and
return to a hook
Backpacks will be restocked on a rotational
schedule

hopetown parents will receive a copy of the
hopetown Rules this Sunday!
You will also have a rules poster available in
your team area to review with your team!

16. Check-in
•Parents will drop kids off at door
•Parents may not enter past the “Stop” sign at
drop off to eliminate traffic in uptown.
•Coordinators will welcome families and kids
at drop off, ensuring each child has a name tag
that is properly displayed
17. Intro Activities
Kids will not be allowed past
this point until 15 min before
service starts
8:00, 9:55, 11:45
You should be in place at this time ,
ready to welcome in your team!

Areas have been clearly marked for each age group.
During Intro, Grade Teams should check into their Team
Time(Small Group) areas until Large Group Worship
2- 4 in Large Group Area
K-1 in to their classrooms
5th into their designated area

Worship
Teams MUST remain in their areas the entire time during Large Group!
This will help you keep track of your team as well as worship with them!
21. Review/Dismissal
Teams will report back to their Large Group designated Team Areas for a Review and Prayer
Huddle Time until their name is called for Dismissal
After the Review, please grab your
Team’s Prayer Journal and huddle with
your team for prayer (return journals to
designated area after service)
***If time runs long, there are discussion questions located inside
the backpacks. (Keep your team focused and controlled until every
child has been dismissed)
