2. What I like about the opening

It starts off straight away
It is exciting and has a comedy fight scene
It fits in well with the rest of the film

3. Use of camera, sound, editing and
special effects
• The establishing shot sets the scene and
tells us about the stereotypical characters.
• There are lots of close ups and mid close
ups to show us the character’s reactions.
• During the fight scene there is use of nondiegetic sound to build suspense and add
an energetic feel.
• The scene is continuous especially during
the fight scene.

4. How it has introduced the
characters
• It shows that the two main characters
aren’t your average FBI officers.
• It shows the relationship between the two
FBI officers
• They flip stereotypes to add to the
comedy; the accused drug dealers turn
out to be ice-cream sellers

5. How it introduces the plot
• It shows two clumsy and unprofessional
FBI officers who are key to the plot.
• It shows that they like to think outside the
box (dressing up as other people and
going undercover)
