2. For our film, we established a new
production company and named it WHITE
KNUCKLE FILMS. The name was chosen
as white knuckle means “causing fear,
apprehension or panic” (source:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/
white+knuckle?s=t)
This name goes well with any thriller film
as such films reflect fear and panic.
3. A production company is responsible for the budgeting, scheduling,
scripting, organizing staff, post-production, distribution and marketing of
the film.

for the marketing of a film. Examples include 20th Century Fox,
Universal Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Lions Gate Entertainment could distribute our film as it has successfully
done so for many independant films in the past. They are well known when
it comes to thriller films and they are an acknowledged distributor.

5. We did some research on opening
title sequences such as Seven and
Buried.
We noted the order in which job
roles appear and the time they are
given on the screen. Important job
roles like producers and directors
appear last and for longer on
screen.
When we were putting titles on our
opening, we had some gaps and had
to fill them with other titles. This
was a time when our previous
research became useful and we
took some titles from Buried such
as Visual Effects and Art Director.
The production company name, main
actors and the title of the film
appear at the beginning.
6. Blooded is a British independant thriller
film which released in 2011.
It had a limited release in some selected
theatres.
It was a short film of 76 minutes and the
cast was not complete with big names
either.
Institutionally this film is similar to ours. Our
film has many of the above mentioned
aspects.
